The stamped and silver-foiled cover for AWAKE IN THE NIGHT LAND can now be seen in the group pictures.

I have never read The Night Land, is that going to diminish my appreciation for this collection?

No, this book towers on its own.

Good to know, thanks!

Did anyone receive this book yet?

I haven't yet (in the US), but it's giving me a chance to finish up THE NIGHT LAND. The cover looks amazing.

I finished The Night Land after buying a copy in January 2018 and letting it collect dust on my shelf until a few weeks ago.

The copy I had was glued together incorrectly and the pages were out of order, which made the story much harder to follow.

After buying a new copy that was done properly, I devoured the book and finished it last night. It was definitely not an easy read and my eyes were prone to skim parts, but the story as a whole was great. I don't know if I would say I would recommend it, but I got something good out of it.

I now feel properly equipped to get the most of Awake in the Night Land when my copy comes in.

This will sound crazy, but the shipping was interrupted because the individual who is in charge of shipping for the bindery was trapped for a week without power by a hurricane when visiting their family over the weekend. It will recommence next week.

Just got mine today! It's beautiful! I love the silver on black. The layout is great! It's definitely the best edition yet

My copy of the Library edition of Awake in the Night Land arrived today. It is a masterpiece of the art of bookbindery.

However, the Castalia Library stamp that was on the back covers of the previous editions wasn't present. I wonder if this is an oversight or a design change.

Design change. It didn't work the way we thought it would.

The black on silver is a very sharp look. I bought a Phillip Marlowe novel a bit back because of its silver and black set up only to be a touch disappointed when I realized the binding wasn’t leather. I still like the book, but nowhere near as much as this one. Is there any chance Castalia will over signed cards from the authors we can add to the books? (At whatever price makes it possible)

It sounded like Summa Elvetica is planned to be signed, see: https://arkhavencomics.com/product/summa-library/

By far the sharpest book in the library collection so far, and a great read to boot! I am a little bummed at the rough end of the book mark.

Just started this one, after finishing The Night Land a couple of weeks ago. Wow! John C. Wright pulled me right in with the preface and the start of the first story! Combine that with the look and the smell of the new leather binding and I'm in heaven. Something tells me I won't be getting much sleep, this week!

>17 Ronius_Maximus: I highly recommend his City Beyond Time, as well. You can get it from Castalia.

Did I just finish reading a Christian, dystopian, horror book?
