Renewable energy sources are being built "at a rate that far outpaces the construction of non-renewable forms of energy." Case in point: Last year, renewables accounted for nearly 86% of new electricity capacity worldwide, according to new data from International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). Our Arnprior Solar Project is a 23.4 MW facility in Ontario, Canada. And it's just a few miles away from Chris Moore and Lyndsey Smith's farm. “I’d driven by [Arnprior] every day for years. Finally, in the summer of 2017 Lyndsey cold-called them to ask if we could talk about grazing our sheep there,” Chris remembers. Unbeknownst to Chris and Lyndsey, we were already interested in exploring "solar grazing." And the rest, as they say, is history... This partnership has been a boon to all parties as well as the environment. View the full case study here: https://bit.ly/3YBeb3k

Over the course of their 25-year operational lives, wind turbines – and in particular, their blades – are exposed to significant wear and tear from the elements. And, regardless of the cause, even minor damage or irregularities can affect a blade’s performance, reducing clean energy production and impacting project revenue. Having a proactive, data-driven blade management program is essential to protecting the value of these assets. Read our new blog from Matt S. Sigala to learn more about smart blade management and how we can help: https://bit.ly/3ysGjeo
