    You don't forget about the Spintax, do you? It's a syntax format that helps create various text versions. Make each cold email unique, and test different messaging across different prospects. Sending the same emails to 10000 prospects with {first_name} and {company_name} just won't work.  Spintax could be a great addition to AI-personalized emails and plain text mode, making your emails really different and personalized as you wrote them manually.

    A cold email workflow I’ve been using averages a 14% positive reply rate and 4-5 meetings per day. The problem has been that the workflow required a lot of manual input.     I was looking over client results and counted 53 positive sales opportunities last week (Mon 29th June - Saturday 3rd Aug) here's 4 areas we are focussing on: 1. Offer led messaging: When you're competing in competitive niches like ecom or the agency space, offer is everything. We've been working with our clients to create offers that scale on cold traffic. These offers have to solve a painful specific problem, have a convincing unique mechanism and risk reversal to make the prospect feel like they have to jump on a call. 2. Clean, concise copy: Easy to read and easy to scan, we cut out all the fluff from our emails so that a prospect can mentally respond in less than a second. Your long, fluffy, formal emails are wasting your prospects time. Get to to point. Very much enjoying Twain as a tool to look over our copy + Mailmeteor's free spam word checker (this is a non negotiable). 3. Segmented lists + relevancy: All our clients lists are heavily segmented with Clay / ChatGPT & enriched with Findymail, this lets us create smaller, hyper relevant campaigns in Instantly.ai with slightly adjusted offers and case studies that the prospect can relate to. 4. Simple, frictionless CTA's: CTA's should evoke a yes or no response, we are optimising our campaigns so that prospects can reply without having to really think. The offer, messaging and simple CTA remove any friction.     New Feature Alert - Catch-All Verification Catch-all verification is now integrated into our main verification feature! What is Catch-All Verification? When you upload a lead list to standard verification tools, you often find that about 50% of the emails are labeled as Risky, Catch-All, or Unknown. Catch-All Verification addresses this gap by attempting to verify these email addresses. Why should you use it? You can reclaim about 80% additional contacts from the risky/catch-all leads, essentially doubling your pool of potential leads. These "risky" or "unknown" leads often belong to prospects who receive fewer emails, potentially making them more likely to respond. How do you use it? When you’re importing leads to a campaign or list in Instantly, just tick the “verify leads” checkbox and click import. The verification will run right away, showing you which leads are valid and which are not. Instantly will not send out emails to invalid leads, so don’t worry about having them in the campaign.     67 opportunities out of 1405 contacted emails ⚡🎉 How do you achieve such results? Test your offer on a small list, find the winning variant, and then scale. How many leads should you test your offer on? A few pieces of advice from an Instantly user: 1) "The test size really depends on the size of your TAM, but I generally go with about 400ish leads as a test. Once I find a winner and scale that particular offer up, (unsurprisingly) the results almost always align with what I see with the first 400ish leads - in terms of replies, positive replies, meetings booked, etc." 2) "This is without deep-level AI personalization.     Announcing: Instantly.ai Catch-All Verification Every 48 hours we verify over 1’000’000 B2B leads. We did a silent launch of our verification product (embedded into the main workflow) a few months ago. And since then we kept tinkering with it. And now we’re adding one more layer to the verification system. So besides running leads through the standard verification we now also run it through catch-all verification/recovery.  I talked to a few of our power users about this and they’re super excited about it (so am I). Because catch-all verification is a gnarly and often slow and expensive problem to solve. That’s why most of the legacy players in the space who have been around 5+ years still don’t offer it. So let’s look at catch-all verification in detail and what this means for getting more ROI and deals out of your lead lists. If you’ve ever uploaded a lead list to a standard verification tool you will have noticed that 50% or so will be labeled as Risky, Catch-All or Unknown. The standard verification will usually only be able to clearly verify 50% or so of a list and know which one is valid or invalid. Around 40% will be valid and 10% clearly invalid. These are some rough numbers and depend on the quality and source of your data. So do you have to throw all the remaining leads that are marked as Risky/Unknown/Catch-all in the bin? Is 50% of the list unusable? That was probably an expensive lead list. And it’s not only about the cost of the data itself, but about the opportunity cost of not getting to all prospects in your target market. Good news is that that 50% of “unverifiable” leads are not yet lost. And that’s exactly why we’ve added the catch-all verification layer to the Instantly.ai verifier. If a lead is not able to “pass” the standard verification we run catch-all recovery on it. Usually from that 50% of “unusable” leads (let’s say 500 leads in the 1000 leads list example) we can recoup/recover another 300-400. You get 300-400 more potential prospects to close out of a lead list of 1000, that you would’ve otherwise never known about or would have never reached out to. That’s the power of catch-all recovery. And I have a hypothesis that almost no one is verifying and contacting Risky/Catchall/Unknown emails, and that’s why these prospects tend to have less busier inboxes and are more likely to reply. So you not only get more leads but more untapped leads in your target market as well. Long story, short: Make sure to use catch-all verification when scaling your cold email campaigns :)  If you’re a high-volume sender this works. But this also works, and is even more important, if your TAM is only 5-10k people. You need to make sure you don’t leave any stone unturned and can hit every single decision maker in that TAM.
