    We have some HUGE news ⏰ We are excited to announce the launch of our Dynamic Video feature today on Product Hunt! Videos can be a force multiplier for sellers and marketers, cutting through the noise, and bringing a personalized touch to the customer interactions HOWEVER, the time it takes to record 1:1 personalized videos lead to sellers failing to utilize videos consistently. So we decided to do something about it! Announcing Sendspark Dynamic videos — record 1 video, turn on voice cloning, add contacts and generate personalized videos at scale. Hundreds of early customers have been utilizing the feature as part of their outbound campaigns and some of the results are incredible. The team at Warmly, alone have been driving 2-3x increase in reply rates by incorporating dynamic video as part of their outbound campaigns. And our own tests internally have netted out the same: Double Reply Rates when comparing dynamic video campaigns against an email only campaign.     This is my first quarter off of ramp since returning to Gong. It's been a good year so far. In Q1 I closed $140,200 on a $0 Quota. In Q2 I closed $213,300 on a $105,000 Quota. But I am walking into Q3 with way less pipeline than I would like, and it has historically proven to be a tough quarter. So I have chosen a mantra for Q3, something I can commit to as my North Star and guiding principle for the next 3 months. 'Above and Beyond' That is my commitment. I am going to go above and beyond throughout the whole sales cycle. When I prospect my outreach will be creative, I will send personalized gifts, one-of-a-kind emails, and out-of-the-box videos. It will be above and beyond. After a meeting, I will create an Aligned page for each account, send a custom video via Sendspark thanking them for the meeting, and be diligent in my follow-up. It will be above and beyond. I want to provide a level of detail, thoughtfulness, and attention that none of the AEs I compete with will come close to matching. I will go above and beyond. Excited to continue to put this mantra into practice, hoping it will yield results that go above and beyond my number.

    Last month John Barrows told me, “There is an argument to me made that you should burn your sales org to the ground and start over.” Here’s what he thinks the future of SaaS sales looks like: Me: Burn it to the ground?? Wait… What?! JB: I have NEVER done as personalized, as signal-based, as good of outreach as I did these last three weeks. In my own market. With my brand. Know what I got back? Crickets. Me: So you’re saying burn it to the ground? JB: No, no, no, no. I’m saying there is an ARGUMENT to burn it to the ground. Outbound as we know it has become ineffective. Me: What does the future of outbound look like to you? JB: I’m BLOWN AWAY by the new AI-native prospecting tech out there. Tech like Clay, RB2B, and SendSpark. They can identify REAL intent, then execute enrichment, research, and create and deploy messaging in seconds that used to take a rep hours. The reps who embrace this tech have a bright future ahead. I call these AI-native reps “Iron Men”. Part man, part machine… WITHOUT losing the human touch. Capable of using these tools to tell them EXACTLY when to engage at every stage. The reps who don’t embrace the change… I’m not optimistic. Me: How should sales teams adapt? JB: Few sales leader in SaaS today are capable of understanding the power of this tech on their own. Me: What role do YOU want to play in all of this? JB: I want to help the top 20% of reps who are willing to embrace change understand what’s coming. The reps who embrace this tech have a BRIGHT future. They’ll be on elite teams of snipers who wield the power of this new AI-native tech in incredible ways. They will be more effective sellers than we’ve ever seen, and they’ll get paid TONS OF MONEY. I want to facilitate ushering in the new era of Outbound. TAKEAWAY: John Barrows is amazed by the power of new AI-native sales tech. Send automated personalized AI generated videos to website visitors??? Um....WHAT?!?! He also believes that there will be a new breed of “Iron Man” rep. These reps will understand how to use this AI-native tech to enhance their natural abilities. The truly successful reps will use the tech WITHOUT losing the human touch. This top 20% of reps who embrace this future of sales, will be rewarded. As for the 80% who don’t embrace the change? Barrows thinks they’re walking the plank. And so do I.
