Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2024 was an amazing week where we showed the power of #MWTogether. The week was full of incredible wins, the result of months of hard work and collaboration with our clients and across our network. There were so many moments of immense pride. Our screening of “The Final Copy of Ilon Specht,” which we created in partnership with L'Oréal Paris, TRAVERSE32 – directed by the brilliant Ben Proudfoot of Breakwater Studios, that celebrates the extraordinary story of courage, creativity and conviction of the life of Ilon Specht the talent behind L’Oréal Paris’ iconic tagline, “Because I’m Worth It,” counts among those moments. Thank you to everyone across our global network for you talent, drive, tenacity and creativity. Thank you to our clients. Last week, we celebrated the life and legacy of Ilon Specht, the radical creative genius behind L’Oréal Paris’ iconic tagline, "Because I'm Worth It." This groundbreaking idea, crafted in 1973 when Ilon was a young copywriter at McCann New York, not only revolutionized advertising in the beauty category but also became a powerful feminist statement. We paid tribute to Ilon by sharing a moving documentary by two-time Academy Award® winner Ben Proudfoot, “The Final Copy of Ilon Specht” and heard more of Ilon’s story from those who knew her best, including her children, Alison Case and Brady Case, as well as her family, friends and former colleagues. Thank you to The Paley Center for Media and She Runs It for participating in this very special event, and to Ilon’s family and everyone who joined us, took part in the discussion, and helped make this such a memorable night.

Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Magazine tells the full story on how, in collaboration with our client Grupo Bimbo, we leveraged AI to produce 42,000 unique posters for over 8,000 Mexican street chefs, helping them compete successfully against the fast-food behemoths that were, well, eating their lunch during the Covid-19 pandemic. "The Greatest Guide," a platform featuring a digital map and print guide created by Grupo Bakeries using generative AI, blends Mexico's history of sign painting and street food. The guide includes more than 8,400 independent street food vendors in Mexico that use Grupo Bimbo buns to create inventive hamburgers and hot dogs. Producing the guide has paid off nicely for Grupo Bimbo, generating a 23 percent boost in sales in 2023 among participating locations — compared to a 10 percent goal for sales.
