Last week, our Woodbury office took part in the Marcum Workplace Challenge, Long Island's largest corporate run/walk for charity, covering a distance of 3.5 miles. After the race, our team gathered under our tent to enjoy some delicious grilled food grilling and great company!

As an award-winning "one-stop shop” of architecture and engineering excellence, we recognize the profound impact of Computer-Aided Design on crafting groundbreaking structures. Today, we celebrate this advanced technology that consistently transforms our industry and expands horizons. Featured in this post are photos from an NYCDDC project the PS&S Survey team worked on, at 70 Mulberry Street. They performed a laser scan of the exterior facade of the building including the six-story stair tower, 26 scans with free station scanning techniques, cleaned the scans, correlated to the control network and post processed using a combination of cloud to cloud and target-based registration with cyclone software. The resulting point cloud was used by the team to generate a highly detailed three-dimensional Revit model of the building. The model will be used by the City’s consultant architect as the basis for their design.

Next up on our roster of regional events, our Wall office headed out to see the BlueClaws, at ShoreTown Ballpark, for a festive Christmas in July game. To make the evening even more special, our team enjoyed an extra present—a visit from Buster! It was a fantastic night filled with laughter, celebrations, and a chance to bond with colleagues outside of the office!
