    There is a lot of momentum recently at Slope, and the rest of the year will be at least as fun! To keep up with the excitement we recently expanded our sales & customer success teams. We are not stopping there, and are now looking to add rockstar talent across Recruiting, Data Science, Customer Support, Engineering (both forward deployed and full-stack) and Risk Operations.  Coordination and communication are key to our success. This was extra evident during our recent company outing where we all went rafting in the Russian River - a great showcase for how collaborative efforts lead to smoother (and in this case, drier) outcomes.     Renzo Costarella has joined Slope as founding GTM. Renzo was previously a Senior Account Executive for Upper Mid-market at Brex. Brex’s ex-CRO and ex-COO both highly recommended Renzo and his references highlighted him as one of Brex’s top AEs. Renzo is a fast-paced hustler who isn’t afraid to try new things and iterate. He shines in the early stage environment where there's unbounded room for creativity and strategy. In less than a week at Slope, Renzo is already taking point on moving full-steam ahead of some new deals. Renzo is a foodie and into cooking — let him cook at Slope!! 👨🍳🔥

    Keyi (Sophie) Wang, ex-VP at Guggenheim Partners, joined us as Customer Success Operations! As a Vice President at Guggenheim Partners for nearly 5 years, Sophie advised customers on high-stakes transactions, M&A and complex financial turnarounds. Her references highlighted her as top decile among VPs at Guggenheim and customers loved working with her. Prior to that, she spent 5 years at Millstein & Co, a financial advisory and investment firm founded by US Treasury’s inaugural Chief Restructuring Officer during the financial crisis, and at UBS. Her references were absolutely stellar and she was noted to be in top echelon of her firm and the right hand of the MD’s she worked with. She holds a CFA, M.S. in Finance from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and B.S. in Economics from Peking University (China’s #1 university).     Hannah Scholes is joining us as our 1st Growth hire! She was a Senior Associate at PwC, with a background in Neuroscience from McGill University where she also conducted research. She clearly stood out with her detail-orientedness and thoughtfulness in her GTM case studies, with strong soft and data/analytical skills. We interviewed hundreds of candidates for this role and she instantly stood out with her wonderful personality and her bar for excellence. Her references all highlighted her as the top 1-3 people they’ve worked with because of her ownership mindset, accountability, diligence, and quality of work even when clients did not know what they wanted. She has lived in Canada, UK, US, and Australia – and given B2B payments is a global problem, we welcome her multifaceted experience. Let’s grow, Hannah! Welcome to team Slope! ⚡
