Assistant Store Manager

In April of 2016 we launched a successful “High Water” shirt, an innovative take on the Aloha shirt, which we designed for pool parties and après surf.  Fast Fwd to December 2023; we opened a retail store in Fairfax, Marin.  We are working on growing the business in this location, and need someone to join our store team to make this happen.  

Primary Responsibilities:

You’re responsible for delivering customer experience success and operational excellence, and you will play a huge role in the company.  This is a high visibility role on a small team at an innovative apparel start up. 

This is a great role for someone with a few years of retail experience who is looking to take their operational and social skills to the next level. 

Accountable for and own the following areas:

• Provide exceptional customer experience
• Clear action to translate behavior to revenue results 
• Store operations - backorders, shopify and Ordering systems support.
• Store inventory management, counts and replenishment of shopfloor.
• Sales strategy, Set the standard of store behavior
• Showroom presentation as directed

Key Qualifications:

• Outgoing, Strong communication skills.
• Ridiculous attention to detail and organization.
• Must love talking to people
• 2 years of field retail experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results
• Established time management skills
• Strong planning and prioritization skills
