We are seeking an experienced Shopify Web Manager and Online Merchandiser to manage and maintain our Shopify e-commerce site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site is optimized for performance, user experience, and search engine optimization. The Web Manager will also be responsible for managing the site architecture, product tagging, merchandising and web integrations to drive sales and revenue growth, in addition to managing customer service via chat and phone. This person will also be responsible for managing marketing and promotional campaigns online using Klaviyo and web apps.

Responsibilities
- Manage Shopify site architecture and ensure it is optimized for user experience and search engine optimization
- Develop and implement online merchandising strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
- Manage online marketing and promotional campaigns
- Manage product tagging and categorization to ensure accurate and effective product search and filtering
- Oversee the design and development of new site features and functionality
- Monitor site performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing, purchasing and production to determine new product arrivals and additions
- Ensure uptime and a seamless user experience across all touchpoints
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to e-commerce, user experience, and search engine optimization
-Understand the e-Commerce eco-system, maintain integrations, plug-ins and apps, inventory management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, web design, or related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience managing Shopify e-commerce sites and knowledge of email marketing platforms
- Strong understanding of Shopify platform and its features and functionality
- Experience and understanding of integrations into Shopify.
- Knowledge of web design principles and best practices, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with online merchandising and product tagging
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decision-making
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Retail experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook Excel, PowerPoint)
- BONUS – (Designer Skills in Adobe Suite)
