Last weekend, I completed a personal achievement of mine! I made a decision at the start of the year to raise funds for World Child Cancer; a charity supporting children battling cancer worldwide, whilst completing a challenge I never deemed doable. I set myself the challenge of completing both the London Marathon and the Mallorca Ironman within just 3 weeks of one another. The marathon spanning 42km and the Ironman comprising a 2km open sea swim, 90km cycle, and 21.5km run, I aimed to mirror the endurance faced by these brave kids. The journey was undeniably challenging, yet what an experience!!! After a year long of tough training sessions, late nights in the pool or on the bike, we got it done.
