Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com An intelligent thriller that finds almost constant ways to introduce blood-curdling tension. Rated: A- Nov 16, 2019 Full Review Eric Kohn indieWire Once the premise kicks into high gear, Hush reveals itself as a finely craved one-trick pony. Rated: B Oct 23, 2018 Full Review A.A. Dowd AV Club An effectively straightforward exercise in suspense, one that further positions Flanagan-who also made the year's well-received Ouija prequel-as a filmmaker with a strong grasp on horror's fundamentals. Dec 1, 2016 Full Review Matt Patches Polygon It's a terrific modern slasher, and even got the seal of approval from Stephen King. Oct 20, 2021 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts It [had] really a nice production work and I wouldn't be mad if I went and saw this at the cinemas. I don't think it's a bad film at all, I just don't think other than those key aspects, there's a lot going on. Rated: 6.5/10 May 7, 2021 Full Review Jordy Sirkin Jordy Reviews It HUSH places you into a horror film unlike any other. On paper, it's a slightly typical "stalker outside the house" flick, but it combines an invasion-thriller with a slasher edge so frightening well. Jan 2, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Max S i find the movie boring and lame, it only gets good after the big guy (the girl's friend boyfriend) shows up, and still, it was very lame and slowpaced, i get that its a thriller suspane movie, but it was bad, but i liked the dinamyc of the killer and the dead/mute girl Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/13/24 Full Review Audience Member Yes, I'm aware of the studio and production involved in this movie, yet I can put thoughts I have regarding issues on those fronts to applaud the others. Although how a project, how it's made, produced, and distributed does warrant discussion. Not here. I was caught off guard by this movie a few years ago. I love that in scary movies! Unfortunately, I didn't see this on the big screen (if it had a theatrical release). appears not; yet, it would be enjoyable on the big screen, perhaps on a scary movie weekend. Ok, the movie is scary. Blending things that happen in real life:cold realities, love, relationships, work. Sure, I've seen movies where the lead actor or target is deaf but the actor here nailed this performance as a deaf person. Good acting/scriot/sets/sound/lights/makeup. Maybe more fake blood in a few parts, as it had some gritty scenes. FYI, it's not that expensive for the production companies involved. No few second-speaking part, say a neighbor who gets it: to get more chills going. This producer refuses to allow a few speaking lines due to CHEAP (fyi, the guy is worth hundreds of millions, as is the company). The storyline kept me interested from start to finish. Unfortunately, this movie distribution license expired in 2023, so when and how viewable only suits or status might know. God forbid this production company originally involved is holding anything up; they have enough money. This movie needs to be viewable; it's a good, scary movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/11/24 Full Review Garrett W This is an exhilarating thrill ride and a suspension time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/02/24 Full Review Yanuar F Suspenseful and creative way to present horror/suspense/thriller Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/28/24 Full Review Ethan M I feel like this movie was a boring watch and is just very unrealistic. Home invasion movies are usually a huge hit or miss and this one was definitely a miss in my opinion. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Norman P The killer's behavior has literally no sense, he just killed the friend's protagonist, but is scared of breaking the window?
