Late Night with the Devil Reviews
One of the worst horror movies I’ve ever seen. horrible acting, bad script, AI graphics, just atrocious. Interesting concept, bad execution.
I'll give this points for originality with the late night show theme, but it doesn't offer much after that. It tries really hard to be scary with over the top possession tropes, but the special effects are predictable and cheap.
Best thing about it was its’ originality. The climactic sequence of mayhem was cool because it avoided horror aesthetic clichè and instead went with something bizarre along the lines of Tim and Eric. I loved that 60 seconds or so when Lilly’s head split open and radiated destruction on everyone in the studio. The worst thing about it was the first hour of acting and build up. It was cheesey and predictable with that feeling of thinking it is much more clever than it is. It felt like a bad episode of Freddy’s Nightmares.
Honestly no idea how this got 97% on rotten tomatoes.
Found footage is already my favorite genre of horror. I love the fact that it’s based loosely around a tv show. Makes it feel more like reality, and it’s was really smart to include a skeptic character, to keep you guessing if it was real or not. The ending just hits you like a ton of bricks lol
Haunting but yet also comedic. The film is original and the twist at the end will blow your mind. Is it scary? No but it’s really unsettling. The one jump scare in the movie actually got me.
Tenso, pertupador, estranho e esquisito. Entrevista com demonio vai deixar você segurando a cadeira em alguns momentos
"Late Night with the Devil" exploits the dark morality of sycophants everywhere.
Absolutely dreadful I’ve read the reviews and I’m honestly baffled The only people that say they like this film say so because they want you to think they they see some depth in films that were to thick to understand But the reality is it’s shit It’s absolutely shit Fast forward to the last 15 minutes for all the action but even that ain’t worth it I’d rather watch goldfish sex
Sensacional, filme muito bom
I loved the retro atmosphere of the 70s, the good performance of David Dastmalchain and the young Ingrid Torelli, who is certainly receiving criticism, in my opinion she gave a very good performance, managing to make the viewer uncomfortable at all times of the film.
Not very scary. A bit slow
Was good, I enjoy horrors these days that are creative and different from the usual schtick of stuff we’ve been getting for decades now. More like this and this umbrella of a genre will come back to the forefront of films.
Not that scary but the originality of it made it good. I know a lot of people hated the ending but I thought it was kinda hilarious.
If I could rate this more accurately I would give it just under 4 stars. The premise was original which scored points, but the supporting roles were too hammy. They were so bad that it takes you out of the film. The story builds this up as a show that rivaled Carson. I always watched Carson and his supporting cast on the show were never this bad. Two of the characters, the main and the girl being interviewed were really strong. Then it started tailing off at a quick pace. After a slow buildup you need a good payoff. It was ok to good. Not great. To be honest this was more of an episode of Tales From the Crypt than it was a feature film. I think if they had added a little more flavor of the meeting where the Owl ceremony took place it might have been more impactful in the ending. I think this movie tried to be too much in mashing The Exorcist with The Shining. Still not a bad watch though.
Just amazing!!! I usually don't trust horror movies, but this one surprised me!
First 3 quarter of the movie was good, ending really stupid
What a wild, freaky night at the movies.
the worst movie i've seen
