The Beekeeper Reviews
Movie was well made. Story line is super. Action packed. More movies like this!!! Well done Jason!
Modern movies are lazy and bad but rarely have acting that is so bad it takes you out of the movie. You will understand after watching it. No way this is a 90+ percent. Impossible.
Typical Stratham movie. Like it alot
awesome action movie this is going on my top best movie of 2024 Jason Statham does a great job at acting the fight scenes are cool
Best film of the year! Bring on more Beekeeper!
Really enjoyed it, was a great popcorn action flick.
superficial revenge film, empty characters and boring pace. I don't understand the positive reviews
I like the idea of this movie but the writing/acting and editing was so bad like did AI write this? The dialogue and acting was so clunky and off. The daughter doesn’t even act sad that her mom is dead, just a single tear being wiped was the most emotion we got out of her. Every scene with her in it was a master class for acting in a hallmark movie. Forced exposition to the max!!!!!!!!! Plot holes left and right! It seems to be trying to have that comic book camp effect, but it’s not leaning into enough that comes off as a low budget after school special. A wattpad writer could have wrote this better iykyk.
What a joke of a movie. If only it was trying to be satire. Didn’t any of some decent actors read this script before signing up for this?!
Overall, it's a good movie with only minor issues. I feel like all the swearing in this cheapens the script a lot, it just sounds forced instead of a natural flow. Another thing is the main character, Adam Clay (Jason Statham) manages to remain almost injury free for the whole movie until towards the end when he has a one-on-one with Lazarus (Taylor James.) It feels unrealistic (granted, it's a movie) but even John Wick gets injured left right and centre. Agent Verona Parker (Emmy Raver-Lampman) seems more like washed out Detective than an FBI agent. I feel like the scenes could've been dragged out a little longer rather than just quick shots of Adam Clay winning back to back, an occasional roadblock for the character would've been good but it's still a good movie.
A lot of people are saying how The Beekeeper is a throwback to the action movies of the 1980s. As someone who was actually around in the '80s, let me tell you that's not necessarily a good thing. It even has a South African bad guy, just like an old Arnie movie. This is a dumb, dumb film. Be warned.
Terrible movie. Derivative of too many movies to list. Terrible acting, unbelievable plot, and sophomoric directing. Stupid through and through.
92% audience was definitely paid for. This movie is horrific. Horrible acting, writing, and action. Waste of your time
This movie did not disappoint. I thought it would be a mid tier action movie but it was so much more than that. The plot was detailed and thorough and the action was epically brutal. I’m a fan of Jason Statham in action movies and he was perfect in this role. I hope there are more movies from this franchise because there is definitely a lot of potential.
I didn’t like it hated the movie hard pass for me!
A solid B-action film. Not bad, but not great! Just in the middle.
If you are a fan of action revenge movies Jason Statham delivers again. Great Actor....
Terrible movie. Completely unbelievable. Statham is great as usual but the FBI lead is a terrible actress. Final scene Statham fights his way up 3 flights of stairs only to jump out the window on the ground level. Then he makes a getaway across the yard with hundreds of cops on the property but only the FBI agent sees him. Poor writing poor directing poor acting. They just don’t make movies like they used to. Statham should be careful signing on to movies like this.
Jason Statham did a great job as usual
