THE BIKERIDERS captures a rebellious time in America when the culture and people were changing. After a chance encounter at a local bar, strong-willed Kathy (Jodie Comer) is inextricably drawn to Benny (Austin Butler), the newest member of Midwestern motorcycle club, the Vandals led by the enigmatic Johnny (Tom Hardy). Much like the country around it, the club begins to evolve, transforming from a gathering place for local outsiders into a dangerous underworld of violence, forcing Benny to choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club. Donald Clarke Irish Times Most contemporary westerns end up mourning a vanished era of compromised freedom. The Bikeriders doesn’t quite believe in that myth, but it still finds time to dampen a handkerchief as its shadow recedes. A flawed, fascinating film. Rated: 4/5 Jul 13, 2024 Full Review Stephen Romei The Australian It’s the other elements – plot, storytelling, script, emotional connections, engaging the viewer – that fall off the bike. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 5, 2024 Full Review Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald It’s Comer who anchors the film... It’s a performance that confirms her place as one of the most compelling actors around, but it belongs in a better picture. Rated: 3/5 Jul 3, 2024 Full Review John Flickinger The Flick Pick (Youtube) "The Bikeriders" revs its engines with a nod to Scorsese, as the cast channels their inner James Dean and Marlon Brando. Despite hitting the throttle at times, the film's narrative often veers off course, ultimately leaving a void of fulfillment. Jul 22, 2024 Full Review Filipe Freitas Always Good Movies Depicted with a certain nostalgia, this is a furiously lucid slice of American cinema, intelligently constructed and handsomely executed. Don’t hesitate to hit the road with these nervy fellas. Rated: 4/5 Jul 21, 2024 Full Review Jane Freebury Jane Freebury Despite its strong cast and other cine pleasures, including a soundtrack stoking rebellion, there is a journalistic distance to it all, including the visceral lure of the open road that attracted its poster-boy to a bikie gang in the first place Rated: 3/5 Jul 20, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

NCR CP Good characters. Remember, its from a true story, so don't expect lots of chases and explosions. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/22/24 Full Review Jesus Gonzalez not as good as I thought it was going to be Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/22/24 Full Review susan e Liked the time frame and the story told of the first motorcycle group and what they stood for. Also the way the story unfolded and told through various interviews with the female lead character. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/22/24 Full Review Hudson Besides the pretty design choices and above average acting, The Bikeriders had little to offer from a story perspective. An underutilized ensemble cast and a disjointed narrative made for a slow burn without the burn. With no tangible conflict for the majority of the movie, it felt as though I was watching a documentary about the most tame group of delinquents ever assembled. Shame on this movie for reducing Austin Butler to a pretty face for awkward glam shots instead of maximizing his talents. Tom Hardy didn’t have much to work with either but he did the most he could and I can appreciate that. Despite the multiple attempts at emotional upheavals centered around forgettable characters, the only things I felt during this movie were boredom and disdain for the midwest accent that violated my ears. It’s unfortunate a setting and premise with such potential resulted in this drab and sluggishly executed picture. If you took all the elements of this film and gave them to Scorsese, we would’ve had a masterpiece. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/21/24 Full Review Derek G I loved this movie! Its not an action piece or a riveting thriller. But an exceptional character drama that shows how something well intended can eventually lead to a horrible downfall. Austin Butler, Jodie Conner and Tom Hardy are all great in this! Definitely recommend it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/21/24 Full Review Barbara Outstanding acting and unique storyline.
