Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com It could not be done better. They pulled no punches with this movie. Rated: A+ Jul 16, 2020 Full Review Alexandra Heller-Nicholas The Blue Lenses Train to Busan is horror as it should be: intelligent, fun, and celebrating life with every mad twist and new take on death that it can find. Aug 25, 2018 Full Review Matthew Lickona San Diego Reader Director Yeon Sang-ho makes smart use of the cramped quarters, and while it's true that his zombies' abilities tend to vary according to the requirements of the moment, it's easy to overlook amid the onslaught of action and emotion. Rated: 3/5 Jan 6, 2017 Full Review Joshua Polanski Boston Hassle Many of the film’s great images capture the tenderness of parental love: a close-up of a father’s hand holding his daughter’s, a husband glancing back at his wife and in his dying breaths suggesting a name to his pregnant wife for their coming child... Jul 4, 2024 Full Review Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry There is a deep love that carries through the devastation, Train to Busan delivers what movies are all about. Jun 8, 2024 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand This is viral horror with an organic purity and a cinematic distinction to it, and in its own bloody, diseased way, it's a thing of beauty. Rolla A The one and only Zombie flick I've seen, I loved it, yes it was corny in parts and melodramatic at times, but it's a zombie flick, what do you expect!!! The scene towards the end with the little girl had me crying uncontrollably and I'm not ashamed to say that the scene will stay with me for many many yrs😭😭😭, the young girl deserves an Oscar for her performance Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/08/24 Full Review Tom S Too much posing & melodrama & character stereotypes. A lot of posters said they were crying at the end but I was yawning. Move it along already! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/04/24 Full Review Waniya S This movie was everything. It made me cry so hard. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/03/24 Full Review Nara B I've never been a big fan of zombies movies, but Train to Busan is more than just a movies with a bunch of zombies. It feels REAL, and it left me asking myself : what would i do, if i was in this situation ? That selfish man who sacrificed everyone to save himself, the young boy who had to hitting his friends with a baseball bat to save his girl, or that father who gives himself to eat to the zombies to save his unborn baby. It could have been any of us. Loved it so much !! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/03/24 Full Review Chris T The ending of the story was one of the most touching scenes of all. Kind of similar feel to Titanic. Although the movie at times is kind of predictable and bland. But overall it’s still a great movie. The kid in the movie deserves an emmy for sure. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Craig H Kind of has everything you want in a film for the most part, good acting, some emotional and comedic beats, some real tension and horror and to top it off a typically horrible, morally bankrupt character who causes a bunch of the death who you're rooting for his demise the whole film, all wrapped in brilliant Korean film making. My 2nd favourite zombie movie I'd say. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/08/24 Full Review Read all reviews
