entertaining horror movie, i would rate the film even higher if it wasn't for the explicit sex scenes ... i don't like sex scenes in movies, unless sex is an integral part/ or subject of the movie ... i find it distracting ... but other than that, mia goth and jenny ortega were fantastic ... what a great start to the trilogy this movie was

Watched cuz of the hype and was disappointed. Don't listen to the hype. Was really boring for a horror movie. The characters could've been written with more substance especially Jenna Ortega's character. It was rough watching her on screen all I remember was her screaming and using no logic.

Sexy, raunchy, violent and disturbed with great performances and the perfect movie to start of the saga. Although the plot somewhat unoriginal sticking to the classic group setting off on a rural adventure only to turn into a horrorific nightmare. It still does it well and has a cool old school porno meets slasher flick vibe

We were initially skeptical to watch this, but it turned out to be quite entertaining (well-acted, directed, and we have a few proper laughs). The overall performances are excellent and the film sets up the trilogy nicely.

As a whole, this trilogy is worse than the Star Wars sequels

Reviews of this are so high for no reason - this movie was very surface level, I don't understand the hype for it.

Mia Goth is mesmerizing. It's a shame the story can't keep up as usual.

A really dark and twisted horror film that feels like the rebirth of true horror films. The storyline is somewhat "taboo" which makes it so effective and striking. The acting is brilliant and the story line is excellent. A great film all round.

I am typically not a fan of "Horror" but I would peg this squarely in the Mystery/Thriller Genre. It was a great film! The acting was great and Kid Cudi was a surprisingly good. The movie had its comedic relief and had me wondering what was next the whole time. It was shot well and cut uniquely.. *spolier I thought the story was done really well and had me thinking about how Maxine and the old lady could possibly be connected or the same person. * I will most definitely be watching Pearl!

What can I expect, this movie is amazing. Mia Goth and the rest of the cast truly have that X factor. 5 stars!

The entire trilogy was amazing! It was very well shot, had great audio effects and soundtrack and amazing cast all around.

Esse filme é igual qualquer sequencia de o massacre da serra eletrica, ou sexta feira 13, lento pra krl no até metade do filme pra apresentar os personagens que vc não da a minima importancia, e depois slasher padrão as mortes ocorrem em 20 min muito previsiveis e muitas nem fazem sentido, como o sangue voando nos farois e eles ficam vermelhos e não estão nem sujos de sangue, depois o cara tem a cabeça perfurada por uma idosa em um instante, ela q não tem força até então, e por fim a do crocodilo que foi muito obra do acaso

Really good ideas that fit together and it is well conducted. Tries to be disruptive but stick to some cliches from the genre which is a really good mix.

"X" is a very unexpected take on the slasher genre that ensures to leave a very strange everlasting impression.

One of the best, most beautiful and intelligent slasher movies ever made, whether people realise it yet or not.

This film is killer ! Loved the whole thing. Not so wholesome but very well done.

That was a guilty pleasure. Interesting how the hot scenes chose to show far less than many recent movies but went all out for the violence. That's American entertainment!
