By now, it's common knowledge that Tom Holland really, really, really wants to join the cast of Euphoria. The actor recently made his feelings known in an interview, previously sharing that he visited the set a whopping 30 times while his Spider-Man costar, Zendaya, was filming. To add to the intrigue, Tom was recently spotted "lurking" in a cast photo with the East Highland crew, so it's clear he'd fit right in with the stellar (and fashionable) ensemble cast.
Given the palpable on-screen chemistry between Z and Tom, it's no surprise that fans want this crossover to happen. Like, now. And it turns out that the Euphoria cast is pretty into the idea too.
In a new interview with IMDb, several cast members weighed in on the idea of Tom joining the hit HBO series. Nika King, who plays Rue's mother Leslie, suggested that Tom bring Spider-Man to the Euphoria universe in a fantasy sequence, noting that with the iconic Sam Levinson at the show's helm, pretty much anything is possible.
Sydney Sweeney — AKA Cassie Howard on the series — also is ready for Tom to don the Spidey suit and save the day. I mean, think about how much less drama (or maybe more) there would have been at that New Year's party if Spider-Man got involved!
"I really feel like we just need Spider-Man to come in and save the day," Sydney joked during the interview, adding that "East Highland's f*cked up."
Maude Apatow agreed, suggesting that there should be a crossover episode that brings Spider-Man into the daily lives of the Euphoria teens. "Euphoria meets the MCU," Sydney added.
Zendaya, who previously hinted that she'd chat with the folks at HBO to make it happen, laughed in response, "I don't know how Disney would feel about that, but yeah!"
Whether Tom makes an appearance in a (glittery, perhaps?) Spidey suit or as a regular East Highland student, one thing is clear. The people—and the cast—have spoken! We'll be waiting patiently in the meantime.
