Best customer support, 24/7

I've been with InMotionHosting for over 10 years now, running several websites. The customer service/tech support is, and has always been, off-the-charts excellent! I know enough about creating websites to be dangerous, and the IMH tech support has always saved my bacon when I make a mistake. They will explain things to me clearly and simply, and often fix things for me that are above my understanding. However, I absolutely would NOT recommend having IMH manage moving domains around to a different account. I'd have had more success if I'd spent the time to learn how to do that myself. I recently went through that and it was a nightmare. Websites weren't redirected, and one was completely lost. But seriously, their technical customer service and sales make up for this one area, and I'd still give them even more than 5 stars.

I moved from Hostek to InMotion a…

I moved from Hostek to InMotion a couple weeks ago and I could not be happier! I can actually get a real person on the phone or chat quickly. They go out of their way to help. Their servers are fast and well secured. It is such a breath of fresh air coming off of Hostek to InMotion! They are a great host especially since you can pick up the phone and get someone who knows what they are doing. Outstanding!

This company is SUPERIOR

This company is SUPERIOR. They've earned all caps. Their pricing is reasonable; their hosting is VERY reliable and MOST importantly - when tech support is needed (any hour of day or night), they are PROMPT and go ABOVE AND BEYOND

I’m very happy with InMotion

I’m very happy with InMotion, but reading what the content of the review should be - actual experience - I don’t recall the last one and unable to provide a specific date. But, when I needed to change my password, they pointed me in the right direction. When my blog needed attention (wasn't loading) the problem was quickly solved. I've been with InMotion for about 10 years, and I'm not going anywhere else.

Used to be great but ...

So, I've been a loyal Inmotion customer for over 10 years with a VPS account (one of their more costly offerings). Until about a year ago this hosting company was one of the, if not the best, around. However, as of about a year ago their technical support is all but nonexistent. The following is what to expect:
1- You will call their support number and will hear that there are more than 10 callers ahead of you,

2- You will be prompted to request a callback. The callback may or may not come. In my past two instances, one took 8 hours and the other never came,

3- You may choose to use CHAT but it'll be the same. Lengthy hold time

My advice, if you've been in business for a long period and require a minimum or no support, Inmotion offers a stable server environment. However, if you're new to hosting, you should look elsewhere.

I started this last week and I too have…

I started this last week and I too have been loyal to InMotion far too long. I have already started to transfer all my websites and clients sites that i have on their host now. It has been over 8 days and my two sites are still not up and nobody can tell me why. I can't get into the inmotion servers to even log into the sites. This if F**kin ridiculous!

no tech support whatsoever

signed up and still waiting after 12 hours for migration to be actioned by their apparent tech support. chat is useless as they are typists who have no contact with tech as they dont know if and when migration will happen. cant talk to anyone as when i ring the uk phone number, their message says usa is sleeping so no tech help and call back when usa decides to wake up from sleep. far from support. chat queue is always 15+ people and last night took over an hour for someone to chat, phone call last night was 10+ as per receorded message so who knows how many were waiting, after 15mins i gave up. emails to tech support even via theiur ticket system go unanswered. and this is all in day 1. so searching for new host even if it means my site is down as this is no support whatsoever.
UPDATE signed up to a2 hosting at 1126 hours and they replied to migration ticket at 1155 hours and migration completed at 1451 hours. In motion still haven't bothered to reply to any email or the migration ticket after 24 hours. needless to say in motion account has been cancelled

Best Web Host in the World

Very little down time. Best thing is back up service. Problems are always dealt with immediately and effectively. I find Inmotion faultless, and that's prbably why they are recognized as one of the best web hosts in the world.

"InMo Techs Rock!

"InMo Techs Rock!! We have been with them for over 10 years and they have always gone above and beyond to solve any issue. I have several clients on two vps servers and they are great to walk me through the fix so I learn and can grow in my knowledge of how to handle some of the issues myself. They offer support via ticket or chat 24/7, which is good for many issues...but I really appreciate the phone access when I have an issue that needs immediate attention, they respond promptly & professionally. The best hosting company I have found in my 25+ years of webhosting!

In first 30 days

In first 30 days, they gave awesome service and after that the que for chat is 30+ ... I wrote them an email on Jul 30, 2024, 4:04 AM EDT, till now no response only acknowledgement was sent.
They tried to transfer my domain, after 4th attempt it was done, then the domain wen offline for almost 6 hours because they enter incorrect DNS entries.

I would NEVER suggest you to buy services from this compny.

Loving InMotion

Another platform moved to proprietary software, away from cPanel. I love being back on standard cPanel with access to all the features others took away. The sites just work. I've had very limited interaction with service and all have been handled quickly and professionally. I really couldn't be happier.

We recently moved several business…

We recently moved several business sites from another major provider. Our prior provider was once very good but their offerings and support have remained static for a few years. InMotion supports more current web features at competitive prices. We pride ourselves on needing very little support help, but of course when we do need it it's critical. We needed it during our migration, in part because the old provider had some "customized" (i.e. not transferable) DNS records in our sites. InMotion was there quickly and skillfully to resolve migration issues. Their support stands out as the best in the industry.

Moved to InMotion Hosting after 17 years…

Moved to InMotion Hosting after 17 years with another host. My plan included Chat Support, which I was leary of. However, my two sites were migrated, including emails, etc. and were up and running within hours, all via Chat Support. I never would have expected things to be up and running within such a short time. The Hosting/Migration charges were also a much better deal. I highly recommend InMotion Hosting. I received better service and quicker service than I ever experienced with my previous host.

I Feel I'm Home Now

Wanting to get away from companies owned by Newfold Digital (iPower, iPage, BlueHost & HostGator) IInMotion Hosting made it super easy to get an account started. With me being on a limited income, I was limited to what I could afford right away, this close to Christmas. Adam B gave me the hook-up with his personal discount for one year of service. I'll be able to plan ahead better and still save money over iPower. Plus having real support is crucial. That is something that InMotion Hosting has not forgotten, unlike iPower.

InMotion Quality Is Getting Worse

We have 30 sites on Inmotion using their vps. Our offline time has gotten progressively worse in the last two years. Their customer service is very polite, but now they have limited hours of operation. When our sites are down too often they don't know why our sites are down so often. We are likely going to move our sites to another provider.

Spineless Hosting and Clueless Team

This is second time, I'm reviewing this hosting. After my first review, i have sent a full details of issues to to an email mentioned by their Brand Ambassador.

It has been 4 weeks, i did not get a reply from their team. During this period, i have contacted with their support many times and the issues are continue.

During last 7 years, i have used many hosting services and this is the worst hosting i have used ever.

There are frequent downtime and multiple errors on website. There is always an issue with websites.

Their support team have no technical skills. They are clueless when there is an issue on website.

I'm using their services for last three months and want to quit. i think i have wasted my time and money.

After a 3 months hectic experience, i will NOT recommend this hosting to any one.
