The Madrid gathering will wrap up later on Thursday, but not after another stylish display from Queen Letizia - who wore a chic, bright pink dress for the theatre visit.
The sleeveless dress featured a pleated skirt, with button detailing on the top.
Letizia - the wife of Spanish King Felipe VI - completed her ensemble with nude, pointed heels and a matching clutch bag.
Brigitte, who is married to French President Emmanuel Macron, rivalled her stylish display with an off-white, quarter sleeve dress.

'Good,' Mr Biden could he heard saying on a TV feed of the meeting. 'Great time with my granddaughters.'
Earlier this week, Mr Biden joked with Felipe VI as he attended a lavish dinner at the royal palace in Madrid.
'We both married way above our stations,' Mr Biden told the King and Queen after he and Jill greeted the couple, who stood waiting in the throne room.
Jill, wearing a white pants suit, admitted she had other worries - namely that her outfit would clash with the stylish Spanish royal.
'You changed,' Queen Letizia, in a black cocktail dress, told the first lady.
Jill shook hands with her warmly and laughed. She told the president: 'She had on a white suit today. I said "Oh no, are you wearing that tonight?"'
