The couple came together to attend the launch of a new children's game called, Dexi Ville at Mojang Studios in Stockholm.

'It is such a huge advantage, in that we have the opportunity to stand a little in both worlds.'

At the beginning of her tenure in Swedish royal family in 2015, the princess received fairly substantial backlash for some of her prior actions in the media.

On one occasion, the royal modelled topless with only a snake wrapped around her torso. She later took part in a Love Island style reality show before settling down with her now husband, Carl.

Despite the backlash, Sofia came into favour after her work during the Covid pandemic after she took a three-day medical course at Sophiahemmet University College in Stockholm.

She then became an honorary chair member at the university meaning she was qualified to be involved in healthcare.

Many Swedes allowed their minds to be changed after the royal was photographed cleaning and assisting nurses at Sophiahemmet hospital.
