A newlywed couple missed their own wedding reception when the petite bride snapped her ankle giving her hulking 300lb husband a piggyback.
Blake and Mary Greenwell from Kentucky were posing for playful photos outside their wedding venue when the 5ft 3in bride decided to carry her 6ft 1in hubby on her back.

The pair, who had only been married for an hour, were devastated to have to leave behind their 150 guests at the venue and rush to hospital.
There, doctors confirmed Mary had broken her ankle in two places and the newlyweds were forced to spend their wedding night in the ER while their guests partied without them.

Despite their $7,000 dream wedding being cut short on October 12, 2019, the couple now laugh at the unexpected turn of events and hope to redo their reception in the future.
Mary, from Boston, Kentucky, said: 'When we arrived at the venue, the DJ was still setting up and we decided to kill a bit of time by taking some silly pictures outside in a field.
'For one of them Blake leaned over my back and I was very proud I was holding him up - it was a funny picture.

'His brother held onto his feet trying to keep us steady but that actually made us fall forward with my feet staying pointed on the ground.
'Pretty immediately I knew my ankle was broken, it was like it happened in slow motion.
'I didn't hear a snap but I could feel a burn in my left ankle. I remember saying 'My ankle is broken!' and I don't think people thought I was serious at first but then they saw how swollen it was.'

The couple made it on their honeymoon to Disney World Florida six weeks later than planned - with Mary riding around the attractions on a mobility scooter.

The couple were stuck in the ER until 2am, forcing their guests to carry on the party without them and attend the wedding reception without the bride and groom.
But Blake explained that the party only lasted an hour with the guests of honor missing.
The machinist, who got engaged to Mary on July 2 2018, admits he still feels responsible for their dream day going awry.
Blake said: 'Obviously Mary was very upset and I was very worried about my new wife. I'd only had her for about an hour at this point.
'I'm okay talking about it now but it still hurts me. It's more the fact that me falling is what broke her ankle. I kind of blame myself.
'As far as we know, the guests carried on. We had all this food and drinks and the DJ was set up so I think the guests had a good time but it was very short.
'I don't think it lasted longer than an hour.
'I think it just turned into dinner with a bit of music in the background.'
Mary, who has since had 12 screws and a plate inserted into her ankle, said she now looks back at the incident and laughs despite her initial upset.
Mary said: 'I definitely got some funny looks sitting in the ER in my wedding dress.
'I wasn't upset that my ankle was broken. I was more upset that we had put so much time, money, effort into planning a whole wedding and we had to miss that.
'At the time I was really upset we missed out on it but now I've been able to look back and kind of laugh.'
Due to Mary's injury, Blake was forced to rearrange the surprise honeymoon to Disney World Florida, which had already been organized.
The couple did make it to Disney World six weeks later - with Mary riding around the attractions on a mobility scooter.
