Prayers are coming in for former President Trump after he was shot at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday as blood poured down on his face.
Chaos broke out after Secret Service cleared the area and rushed the former president off stage. Trump later confirmed that a bullet grazed his right ear during the assassination attempt.
Rep. Dan Meuser, R-Pa., was standing front row at the rally along with Reps. Mike Kelly and GOP Senate candidate Dave McCormick.
Meuser said he heard between eight to 10 shots ring out as screams rippled through the crowd, according to Fox News.
He added that it appeared there were multiple people in the crowd may have been hit by the bullets and the local district attorney confirmed that at least one rally-goer is 'believed to be dead.'
The former president's Secret Service protective detail issued a statement shortly after the incident declaring 'the former President is safe.'
Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung thanked law enforcement and first responders 'for their quick action during this heinous act.'
'[Trump] is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.'

President Biden received an 'initial briefing on the incident at Former President Trump’s rally,' according to a statement from the White House.
House Speaker Mike Johnson wrote on X: 'Praying for President Trump.'
'Karen and I are praying for President Trump and urge every American to join us,' said Trump's former Vice President Mike Pence.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said she knows 'firsthand that political violence of any kind has no place in our society. I thank God that former President Trump is safe.'
'As we learn more details about this horrifying incident, let us pray,' she added.
Former President Barack Obama echoed her sentiment, saying there is 'absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy.'
'Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery.'

The assassination attempt occurred just days before the Republican National Convention kicks off in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Trump is expected to address his delegates assembled who will formally nominate him to become the GOP nominee for the presidency.
His campaign said he will still attend the convention, which will go on as planned.
