Mandatory evacuation orders remain in place for Antelope Lake to the Plumas county line, the Genesee Valley road corridor, the Ward Creek area and the Flournoy Bridge area.
The cause of the massive Walker Fire is still under investigation.
It comes as several other wildfires have popped up across in Northern California in the past week.
The Red Bank Fire, which is burning about 100 miles away in Tehama County, is now 55 percent contained after stretching 8,383 acres.
That fire was ignited on Thursday by a lightening strike about 25 miles west of Red Bluff.
It destroyed at least two structures but mandatory evacuation orders have since been lifted as authorities gained control of the blaze.
