Julen Lopetegui was dismissed on Wednesday night following a dismal start to the season
Lopetegui was told he was being let go before their 4-1 loss at home to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Sevilla fans gave him a standing ovation despite the defeat, in respect of the success that he has brought to the club since joining in the summer of 2019.
His time at the club will be remembered with fondness by supporters after finishing in the top four in the league three times in a row, and winning the 2020 Europa League.
