Social media sensation IShowSpeed burst into tears while livestreaming his reaction to Portugal's agonising Euro 2024 knockout last night.

Les Blues triumphed in a dramatic penalty shootout after the quarter-final tie went the distance, Joao Felix hitting the woodwork with the only miss.

The defeat likely brought an end to Cristiano Ronaldo's European Championship journey and Speed, who idolises the superstar, couldn't contain his emotions.

Speed, followed by tens of millions on YouTube and TikTok, watched the game live on camera and donned a red Portugal polo shirt for the occasion.

But after Theo Hernandez netted the winning penalty, he began sobbing.

'He's not playing at the World Cup, he's about to retire. That's it.'

Speed later took to Instagram to pose his full response, writing: 'Damn, man. It can't be only me whose [sic] feeling like this. I can't stop crying.

Ronaldo has not confirmed whether he will continue to play for Portugal and could still be included in their squad at the 2026 World Cup in the United States.

Asked whether he had featured on the international stage for the last time, boss Roberto Martinez said: 'No. Everything is too raw. We are still suffering the defeat.

'There's no individual decisions at this point.'
