Prediction time
Tonight's Champions League fixtures are approaching, so we want to hear what you think will happen tonight.
I think both matches are very tough to call.
Harry Kane could be the difference for Bayern Munich tonight, but don't forget Lazio have the potent poacher Ivan Provedel, the goalkeeper.
Can Kylian Mbappe break down Real Sociedad's resolute defence?
Let us know what you think.

Flashback: Provedel scores 95th-minute equaliser for Lazio against Atletico Madrid
Everyone loves a late goal from a goalkeeper.
They're usually few and far between, but Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel has recent history with finding the back of the net.
Provedel netted a 95th-minute equaliser for Lazio against Atletico Madrid in the group stage, becoming only the fourth goalkeeper ever to score in the Champions League proper.
Lazio will be hoping they don't have to rely on him again tonight against Bayern Munich.

Breaking:Liverpool dealt major blow with Trent Alexander-Arnold 'set to miss Carabao Cup final'
Big news coming out of Liverpool and it's not good if you're a fan of Jurgen Klopp's side.
According to reports, Trent Alexander-Arnold is now set to miss the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea, later this month.
The full-back has been extremly influential for the Reds this season, but if they are to win a first trophy of the season, it looks like they'll have to do it without him.

Neville and Scholes share a smooch
We can't mention Valentines Day with football and not talk about this.
Gary Neville and Paul Scholes won everything together, and the former really showed the latter a lot of love after a last-minute winner against their rivals Manchester City in 2010.
A close bond.
They're in red too, the colour of love. How fitting!

Rome or Paris for Valentines Day?
Tonight's two Champions League tie's are taking place in Rome and Paris respectively, so it got me thinking, which city would be better to spend Valentines Day in?
Both are well-known to be romantic holiday destinations, and they also happen to be hosts to some very successful football teams.
Personally, I'd pick Rome.

Wolves are dealt huge blow as in-form Matheus Cunha sustains a 'significant' hamstring injury
In the Premier League, there is some bad news for Wolves fans.
Matheus Cunha has been in superb form this campaign, scoring nine league goals, with three of those coming away at Chelsea in a 4-2 victory.
However, it looks like the West Midlands side are going to have to cope without him for a little while - a huge blow.

Real Sociedad the dark horses
I mentioned earlier that Real Sociedad could cause PSG some problems, could they even be the favourites for tonight.
Back in the Champions League for the first time in ten years, Sociedad have been really impressive.
It will be interesting to see if they can keep their unbeaten record tonight, I'm sure Kylian Mbappe will have something to say about that though.

Reasons why English teams will NOT compete in Europa or Conference League is REVEALED
European knockout football got underway earlier this week as the Champions League round of 16 games kicked off.
The Europa League and Europa Conference league is set to follow suit, with knockout games set for this Thursday and Friday.
However some eagle eyed fans may notice the top competitors in the two tournaments are nowhere to be seen.

Could Kylian Mbappe be playing his football in north London next year?
Yes, this may seem somewhat far-fetched but, according to reports, there is a genuine possibility the France captain ends up at Arsenal.
While rumours have suggested that Mbappe could end up playing in Madrid next year, there's also a chance he moves to London.
However, the Gunners would have to break their current financial strategy in order to facilitate a deal.

Champions League night in the city of love
PSG just had to be involved in a Valentines Day fixture didn't they.
Paris, the city of love - a great location for Champions League football.
The Parisians will feel lucky to even be in this position after only making the knockout stages by the skin of their teeth. They owe AC Milan a big thank you for that.
They will need to take this opportunity with both hands, but it feels like their best chance of winning the competition has passed.
Real Sociedad are no push-over and PSG will have to be on top form if they are to claim victory tonight.

Thomas Tuchel tells Bayern Munich stars to provide better service for Harry Kane
Well, this year could be different for Harry Kane, you never know.

Euro 2020 final: England 1-1 Italy - Italy win on penalties
England fans, I'm sorry.
This one is tough to write, but it has to be done. Back in the summer of 2021, hopes were high as England were on the cusp of 'bringing it home'.
However, after Luke Shaw's early opener which blew the top off of Wembley, Leonardo Bonucci's equaliser sent the game to extra-time and then penalties.
We all know what happened next.
Harry Kane even called the defeat the 'worst thing in the world'. Another close call for the England captain.
Have we got over it two years on?

Champions League final 2019: Tottenham Hotspur 0-2 Liverpool
This may be the one that haunts Harry Kane the most.
Tottenham had an incredible run to the Champions League final in 2019 which included a dramatic semi-final comeback against Ajax.
For Spurs and Kane, it was their first ever European cup final, and they had a disastrous start after less than one minute when the ball struck Moussa Sissoko's arm in the box, giving the Reds a penalty.
Mo Salah dispatched the spot-kick before Divock Origi sealed the victory late on.
It wasn't to be for Kane that day, who raced back to be fit for the final. He will be hoping this year Bayern can go one step further.

Another trophyless season for Harry Kane?
Bayern Munich will be desperate to put in a strong display tonight against Lazio after their big defeat in Leverkusen.
Harry Kane is having an excellent season on a personal level. He has netted 28 goals in as many matches, an incredible record.
However, the way things are going he could end another season trophyless, which would be a disaster for the England captain.
Bayern's only hope for a trophy outside of the Bundesliga, where they are currently second, is the Champions League.
We all know how hard that is to win, including Kane who has already felt the heartbreak of losing a final once before, when Tottenham lost 2-0 to Liverpool in the 2019.

Bayern looking to bounce back in Rome
We have another big night of Champions League action coming up tonight, with Bayern Munich in action away at Lazio and PSG hosting Real Sociedad.
It could prove to be a big night for the Bavarians in particular as they look to bounce back from their damaging 3-0 Bundesliga defeat away at title-rivals Bayer Leverkusen.
The stakes are high in this one and I for one, cannot wait!
Valentines XI: COMPLETE
Right, here is our Valentines Day full football XI. I'm pretty happy with it in truth, although I know there may be some controversial picks.
How well would this team do in the Premier League?
Formation: 4-3-3 (attacking)
Goalkeeper: Joe Hart
Defenders: Donald LOVE, Dejan LOVrEn, Luis CASANOVA, Danny ROSE
Midfielders: ROMEO Lavia, Filip KISS
Attacking-midfielder: Andrei KanchelsKIS
Forwards: VALENTIN Barco, Vagner LOVE, VALENTINO Livramento

Former Man United interim manager Ralf Rangnick 'has emerged as a shock candidate to succeed Xavi at Barcelona'
We've heard Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen on the job at Barcelona, but he is going to face some competition for it.
Former Man United interim manager Ralf Rangnick looks like he may be another ex-Premier League boss in the running for the job.
This would be a surprise if it ends up materialising...

Valentines XI: Forwards
It's the big one, the forwards. We need a goalscorer in this team, don't we.
I have been thinking of many options and have found a good balance up top to ensure it has the potency it needs.
However, first I have some honourable mentions who didn't quite make the cut: Kern CUPID (Ex-Trinidad & Tobago defender), Tim FLOWERS (Former Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper), and Harry DARLING (Swansea City).
Now it's time to look at our attacking options.
Left-wing: VALENTIN Barco (Brighton and Hove Albion)
Striker: Vagner LOVE (Atletico Goianiense)
Right-wing: VALENTINO Livramento (Newcastle United)
Yes, once again there are some players that are out of position, but I know they would do a job on the wing. Full-backs are rather attacking these days!
Our main outlet is Vagner Love, who is a football manager and fifa legend, and was also capped 20 times by Brazil.

Thomas Tuchel is 'keen to replace Xavi at Barcelona this summer'
Some interesting news coming out of the Bayern Munich camp prior to their Champions League clash with Lazio tonight.
It has been reported that Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is interested in taking over at Barcelona.
Things haven't been looking so rosy in Munich of late, especially after their 3-0 loss to title rivals Bayer Leverkusen, and after Xavi announced he will be leaving Barcelona in the summer, could Tuchel jump ship?
Click below to read more:
Valentines XI: Midfielders
Let's sort out the engine room then shall we.
This part of the team is key, we need a strong connection in the midfield, which normally comes when love is involved.
Centre-Midfielder: ROMEO Lavia (Chelsea)
Centre-Midfielder: Filip KISS (Al-Ittihad Kalba)
Centre Attacking-Midfielder: Andrei KanchelsKIS (Former Manchester United midfielder)
I know that last one may be a push, and he might be in the wrong position, but I had to squeeze him in the team somehow!
I think this midfield would inflict some damage.

Manchester United 'make Newcastle's Dan Ashworth their top target to become sporting director'
In other news, Manchester United would love to get in a new sporting director - see what I did there?.
The person they are keen on is Newcastle United's Dan Ashworth, who is open to joining United.
It would be a big statement from the Red Devils if they can get this sorted, are they finally getting a proper structure in place behind the scenes?
Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks like he is trying to sort a lot of things out.
Read below:
Valentines XI: Defenders
Right, now that we have are goalkeeper in place, let's sort out our back line.
Left-back: Danny ROSE (Former Tottenham defender)
Centre-back: Dejan LOVrEn (Olympique Lyon)
Centre-back: Luis CASANOVA (Deportes Iquique)
Right-back: Donald LOVE (Morecambe)
Let me know any other suggestions you have in the comments!

Inside the South Korea table-tennis BRAWL which left Son Heung-min's finger dislocated
On the theme of love, there wasn't much of it on show within the South Korea squad one day before they were dumped out of the Asian Cup by Jordan.
Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-Min dislocated his finger in a row with his team-mates on February 5, the day before their 2-0 semi-final loss.
No love lost there.

Brahim Diaz scores STUNNING solo goal before copying Jude Bellingham's iconic celebration
Although Jude Bellingham didn't feature for Real Madrid last night, his trademark celebration did.
We have seen the English midfield spread his arms out a number of times this season when he fins the back of the net, but this time it was the turn of Brahim Diaz to take the headlines.
I do love the celebration, but I'm not sure Diaz looked quite as cool doing it as Bellingham. He couldn't help but laugh, but maybe that was just how happy was with his spectacular goal.

Los Blancos narrowly defeat Leipzig
Elsewehere in the Champions League last night, 14-time winners Real Madrid took the initiative in their round of 16 tie with a 1-0 win away at RB Leipzig.
It wasn't a vintage Madrid performance, but that won't matter to them. A win and a clean sheet sees them in a strong position going into the second leg.
Los Blancos were without Jude Bellingham in Germany, however, former Manchester City man Brahim Diaz stepped up to the plate with a fabulous winning goal.
They will surely be City's main rivals for the trophy this year.

Another treble on the cards for Man City?
Pep Guardiola won’t like me asking this question, we know what he thinks about this.
With the form they are in, and after what they achieved last season, you can't help but wonder if they can achieve the unthinkable - a second successive treble.
It's never been done before, and Guardiola has laughed it off, however, they are still in the hunt for the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League.
They are unbeaten in their last 14 matches, and once they get going on a run like this it is usually curtains for every other team.
What are your thoughts, is it possible?

Moment of magic from Mattsson
Although it was a tough night for FC Copenhagen, Magnus Mattsson's equaliser in the first-half will be a moment their fans remember for a long time.

Pep Guardiola fears for Jack Grealish
Not all was sunshine and rainbows for Manchester City last night, as they left Denmark with a couple of injury issues.
The most pressing one, as we have discussed, is Jack Grealish's problem. Pep Guardiola has shared his thoughts on the situation.
It is not looking good.

Where does Jack Grealish go from here?
While one Englishman shines, another one struggles.
After setting the world alight last campaign, Jack Grealish just hasn’t got going this season. It has been clear Pep Guardiola has preferred other options off the left, like Jeremy Doku.
Grealish finally got his start last night but hobbled off after just 21 minutes. What does this mean for the 28-year-old, is he still a shoo-in for the England squad?
He showed his heart in trying to continue, but the injury was just too much for him to carry on. You could see how gutted he was, and I reckon most City fans feel the same way.
I have to admit, if things keep going as they are for Grealish this season, I’m not sure a spot at the Euros this summer is nailed on.

PLAYER RATINGS: Phil Foden was the best player on the park again
We all know how Phil Foden fared last night in Copenhagen, but he was not the only player to put on a show for Manchester City.
There were plenty of high-level performances within the City ranks, however, one player didn't play quite so well.
Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail gives his ratings, here:
![](https://cdn.statically.io/img/i.dailymail.co.uk/i/furniture/live_blog/icons/man_city.png)
Foden the star of the show… AGAIN
What is there not to like about Phil Foden.
The 23-year-old was imperious for Manchester City again last night, running the show, and he truly deserved his goal.
In a City team full of stars it can be hard to standout, but Foden has not had a problem with that this campaign – he is playing out of his skin at the moment.
The English forward has netted 15 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions this season, and there could still be many more to come.
On a day for love, lots of it is being dished out for Foden.

History-makers
It was some night for Manchester City, wasn't it!
The Cityzens' victory against FC Copenhagen was their ninth in a row in the Champions League - a record streak by an English club.

Copenhagen 1-3 Man City: Pep's Champions League holders take charge of last-16 tie
Manchester City look unstoppable at the moment.
Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden secured a 3-1 victory for the holders in Denmark, one that never really looked in any doubt.
The win was City’s 11th on the spin in all competitions and we know once they get on a roll they become unstoppable. It is looking a bit ominous for everybody else.
