Two NBA stars BRAWL during heated international match between France and Germany

A pair of NBA players got into an ugly altercation during international play on Saturday.

In the midst of France's 90-66 win in a friendly against Germany, Evan Fournier of France and Dennis Schroder of Germany needed to be separated.

During a play in the second quarter, Schroder drove to the basket and took a hard foul from Fournier.

Schroder approached his rival and put his hands on his shoulder area.

In response, Fournier put both his hands around Schroder's throat - choking him before teammates and referees separated them.

While the two players appeared to make up on the court, Fournier was ejected from the game for his actions.

Fournier, a former Knicks player, is currently a free agent after spending half his season in New York.

Mid-season, he was traded with Quentin Grimes, Malachi Flynn, Ryan Arcidiacono, and two second-round picks to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks.

Meanwhile, Schroder is about to enter his second season with the Brooklyn Nets.

He was acquired by Brooklyn alongside Thaddeus Young in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie.
