Australia is gearing up for a thrilling performance at the Paris Olympics, with numerous medal hopefuls set to make waves in a wide range of events. 

Our swimmers are expected to excel in the pool, although they will face fierce competition from traditional rivals the USA. The track and field contingent is also packed exciting prospects across multiple disciplines. 

In team sports, the Matildas headline our main contenders, with major charges toward the medal games also expected from the Australian Boomers and Opals in basketball, as well as the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos in field hockey.
