Wozniacki, the former fiancee of golf star Rory McIlroy, also posted two pictures from her shoot - which see her pose on a beach in nothing but red paint.
This was the second year in a row that the 25-year-old appeared in the edition, being shot last time out in a white bikini.
Rousey, 29, also appeared in last year's edition for the first time but was handed a place on the cover for 2016 after becoming the biggest star in the UFC - despite losing her bantamweight title in November.

SI have been teasing Rousey's involvement for months and finally released the images of the former Olympian covered with only a lick of paint.
For the first time the magazine chose three different cover models, with Rousey sharing the limelight with Ashley Graham and Hailey Clauson.
And the former UFC champion was delighted that SI chose to represent different body types.
'Such an honor to share the cover with @theashleygraham and @haileyclauson for @si_swimsuit's issue celebrating women of all body types,' Rousey wrote on Instagram.
Assistant managing editor of the magazine MJ Day described Rousey as a mythical creature when explaining the choice to place her on the cover.

'Ronday Rousey is a cultural phenomenon,' she told Sports Illustrated. 'She is the perfect combination of beauty, brains, brawn, humility.
'She possesses a spirit bigger than the space around her and it is both infectious and inspiring. She's a Pheonix, as fiery and beautiful as any mythical creature ever depicted.'
Rousey is no stranger to causing a stir with magazine covers, having appeared naked in ESPN Magazine's body issue in 2012 as well as becoming the first woman to appear on the cover of boxing's Ring Magazine last year.
