The pair brought in Rouge Architect and builders CHS to complete construction on the beautiful home which they called Mala in honour of a late friend of Kayla's who died three years ago.

In 2022 they sold their ultra-stylish Brisbane investment home for $3million more than they paid for the site, so they could move into Mala upon completion.
Darius retired from first-class footy in 2020 after a distinguished career playing with the Broncos as well as St. George and the Newcastle Knights.
He tied the knot with Kayla in 2012.
The couple share three children, daughters Willow, eight, Romi Yves, four, and Gia, three.
In April they shared they were expecting a fourth child, a boy, who is due in August.
