Stevie Nicks tugged at the heartstrings during her concert in London Friday night.

The rocker, who was joined on stage by Harry Styles, during a tribute to her late Fleetwood Mac bandmate Christine McVie, honored another collaborator, Tom Petty.

Styles joined the rock icon for a rendition of the 1981 Nicks-Petty hit Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, according to The Independent

Images of Petty were broadcast on a screen on the stage as the duo thrilled the audience, who sang along with them.

Nicks, 76, had performed the song at BST Hyde Park in 2017 with the rocker, just months before his death at age 66.

'This is a special day for a lot of reasons,' the hitmaker told the audience. 'To be back here because I feel his presence. I know he’s at this event and he’s happy with me here.'

The appearance included other special meanings.

Stop Draggin' My Heart Around was a song the two performed during Nicks' 2019 Hall of Fame Induction.

And it was Styles' first stage performance since he ended his Love On Tour last July.

The Grammy winner has called Styles her 'adopted' son in the past.

'He’s Mick’s and my love child,' the Edge of Seventeen singer told Rolling Stone

'When Harry came into our lives I said, "Oh my God, this is the son I never had." So I adopted him.'

Nicks told the audience performing is one of the ways she deals with grief.

'One thing that my mom used to say to me when I was little was… When I was hurt, she’d go "Stevie when you’re hurt, you always run to the stage." And that’s what I’ve been doing since Chris passed away,' according to Variety.

Brandi Carlile, Anna Calvi and Paris Paloma were among the performers who took to the stage in a prelude to Nicks.

Nicks will continuing touring through the UK and Europe through July 24.

She will pick the tour up again in the US in September.
