Roxy Jacenko has sparked a debate among her Instagram followers after revealing intravenous vitamin infusions are part of her 'monthly health plan'. On Tuesday, the 37-year-old PR queen shared a photo of herself with her arm hooked up to an IV drip at Cosmos Clinic in Double Bay, Sydney. While many of Roxy's fans were supportive of the health treatment, or curious about its possible benefits, others claimed 'vitamins should come from food'. A follower wrote, 'Be careful promoting something you aren't qualified to!' before posting a link to a news article criticising vitamin drips. Roxy swiftly responded: 'What I am doing is part of my monthly health plan - not a promotion.' Other critical comments included: 'Eat some fruit instead' and 'Sends the wrong message. Vitamins should come from food'. Later, Roxy wrote a comment agreeing with a follower's claim that vitamin infusions 'may benefit after a cancer diagnosis'. The Sweaty Betty PR founder was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, just weeks after her husband Oliver Curtis was jailed for insider trading.
