Betty Gilpin, Dane DeHaan, Shea Whigham and more set out to explore the American West.
    Jan. 24, 2023

Danger is brewing in the upcoming limited series American Primeval — and we now know who’ll be embarking on the grueling journey west.

Executive produced by Pete Berg (Friday Night Lights, Lone Survivor),  Eric Newman (The Watcher, Narcos) and Mark L. Smith (The Midnight Sky, The Revenant, Overlord), American Primeval explores the birth of the American West as men and women fight for control over this new world. Set in the untamed wilderness, these voyagers endure violent collisions of cultures, religions and communities, as they seek to fulfill their destinies. “We are very appreciative that Netflix is trusting us to take a big swing with American Primeval,” director and executive producer Berg recently told Netflix. “I’m looking forward to taking viewers into the most dynamic, intense and heart pounding survival tale humanly possible. We are going into the belly of the beast.”
