Everything You Need to Know About ‘Buying Beverly Hills’ Season 1

Door-knock on LA’s most exclusive properties — and even hotter gossip.
    Jan. 24, 2024

You’ve seen the Umansky family in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for years — now it’s time for some new members to step directly into the spotlight (and over the threshold) with Buying Beverly Hills. Real estate mogul Mauricio Umansky, husband to Bravo star Kyle Richards, is taking on the reality TV mantle himself with the upcoming occu-soap, debuting Nov. 4. And he’s bringing his daughters, Farrah Brittany and Alexia, with him. Envy-inducing interiors, tears and maybe a little romance are in store for the celebrity brood.

Here’s everything you need to know about the reality show before Mauricio, Farrah and Alexia open house on Buying Beverly Hills.

When is the Buying Beverly Hills Season 1 release date?

Buying Beverly Hills Season 1 premieres in full on Nov. 4. It will run for eight 40-minute episodes of interpersonal drama and real estate wheeling and dealing.

What happens in Buying Beverly Hills Season 1?

Buying Beverly Hills follows Mauricio as he leads The Agency, a Beverly Hills real estate firm with offices around the globe. One of his main lieutenants is Farrah, his daughter and a senior realtor at The Agency. Alexia, Mauricio and Kyle’s second daughter, is a newer hire at the company and just starting to find her stride. While Mauricio, Farrah and Alexia take center stage in Buying Beverly Hills, they are joined by their co-workers at The Agency (more on them in a bit).

Like Selling Sunset and Selling the OC before it, this occu-soap offers stunning peeks at some of the most exciting properties in California. You can expect to encounter office romances and glamorous parties from The Agency crew too.

Who is in the Buying Beverly Hills Season 1 cast?

Mauricio, Farrah and Alexia are at the center of the show. They’re joined by their charismatic Agency colleagues, including Santiago Arana, Ben Belack, Joey Ben-Zvi, Jon Grauman, Brandon Graves, Allie Lutz Rosenberger, Melissa Platt and American Idol Season 15 finalist Sonika Vaid. This large cast of characters will spend Buying Beverly Hills Season 1 scaling the real estate rungs — and looking chic along the way.

Let’s see the trailer!

‘Buying Beverly Hills’ Main Trailer

“The more successful you are, the more they’ll talk shit about you,” Mauricio tells an emotional Alexia in the trailer. If anyone knows about winning, it’s Mauricio, the patriarch of his billion-dollar company.

In between shots of gorgeous multimillion dollar properties and popped bubbly, the trailer gives viewers a glimpse of the drama ahead for The Agency team. Alexia is, apparently, terrified of not meeting expectations, saying, “I’m going to be so scared of doing a bad job.” Melissa even asks Alexia if real estate is “the right business for her” in the first place. But Melissa finds herself in hot water too, complaining that someone messed with her career. “That’s something I will not let slide whatsoever,” she promises.

On top of all the professional pressures, there seems to be some romantic tension in the air too. Sonika weeps in a costumed lovers’ quarrel that shouldn’t be spoiled. Joey then asks Alexia a very loaded question about their past. And, to top it all off, Farrah has a tough conversation about the future with her partner, Alex. It’s official: The gossip is just as hot as the listings in Buying Beverly Hills

The first look photos

The first photos from Buying Beverly Hills reveal just how comfortable the Umansky family looks in front of a camera — and the kind of luxury that lies ahead. You’ll find peeks into listings that look more like hotels than homes, lots of outfit inspiration and many, many, many pricy wine glasses. Cheers!
