What’s on your bucket list? Maybe you want to see the Grand Canyon or go skydiving. Maybe you just want to get a dog. One way or another, you should get around to it — and maybe The Life List will give you just the push you need. In the new movie, Sofia Carson (Purple Hearts, the upcoming Carry-On) plays Alex Rose, a young woman who sets out to complete the list she wrote as a child.
Based on the book of the same name by Lori Nelson Spielman, The Life List is part of the Netflix partnership with producer Liza Chasin (The Lost City, Stillwater) and her 3dot Productions. Written and directed by Adam Brooks (Definitely, Maybe, Imposters), The Life List is a romantic comedy about finding yourself — and seeing what happens next.
When Alex Rose’s mother sends her on a quest to complete her childhood bucket list, it takes her on a journey that will make you both laugh and cry as she uncovers family secrets, finds romance, and discovers herself along the way.
No word yet, but you’ll be able to cross “watching The Life List” off your bucket list when it hits Netflix soon.
