Watch the ‘Young Royals’ Season 2 Trailer - Netflix Tudum
- Class is back in session — and the first lesson is on revenge.Oct. 18, 2022
Young Royals is pivoting from romance to revenge. In Season 2 of the Swedish teen drama, winter break is over, which means another term at elite boarding school Hillerska is back in session. Although Simon (Omar Rudberg) and Wilhelm (Edvin Ryding) are no longer together, it’s clear that the former lovers are having a hard time moving on from each other. “I’ve been thinking about you all break,” Simon says in the teaser. Wilhelm apparently feels the same way, and he’s willing to do anything it takes to win Simon back.
That includes getting even with his cousin August (Malte Gårdinger), who leaked the prince’s scandalous video in Season 1. August is remorseful about what he did, but this is just the beginning of his torment. As a family feud heats up, Wilhelm is about to create even more problems that will threaten the entire monarchy. Meanwhile, Felice (Nikita Uggla) is learning how to stand up for herself, and Sara (Frida Argento) must choose between old loyalties and new friends.

“We know you’re really curious about what’s going to happen to Simon and Wilhelm,” Rudberg told Netflix last spring. “They have a special bond,” Ryding added. Gårdinger also teased, “It’s going to be really spicy and exciting.” The tension is already heating up in the first four minutes of the new season.
Young Royals Season 2 premieres Oct. 25.
