Crash Investigators Question Air-Controller Policy August 31, 2006 • Safety officials are investigating air-control tower work rules in the wake of Sunday's crash at the Lexington, Ky., airport. The lone air-traffic controller on duty told investigators he had only two hours of sleep between shifts that day. He was also performing two sets of tasks in the tower.
