Informs other DSU services, including service connections, development of treatment or release/re-entry plans, social history reports, and more comprehensive mitigation reports.

This service is almost always provided as a prerequisite to other DSU services, as it provides the DSU with foundational information about the client that helps inform client-centered decision making and coordination of other services.
