'My other options are take an hour and 40 minute bus ride or drive, and that takes about an hour.'

'First and foremost, [biking] is the most time efficient way to get a workout in,' the California native, who is also an avid runner and often partakes in marathons and triathlons, shared.

'Number two, my afternoons aren't full of anxiety if work pops up or if I need to work late.

'[I don't have to think], "What am I gonna do about my workout?" I check that box first thing in the morning.'

'Number three, it really sets the tone for the rest of the day. I start my day being damn productive and that kind of just gets the ball rolling.'

In another video, Alex added that it was better for the environment for him to cycle to work, revealing he saved 40 kilograms of CO2 just by not driving into work.

In a third TikTok, the Apple employee shared his morning routine on the days that he biked to his job, and he revealed that he had to wake up bright and early to get there on time.

He's out of bed and preparing his breakfast by 5:20am, which is usually a nutrient-high smoothie.

He leaves his house at 6am, and he usually arrives to work around 8:45am.

Upon getting to his office, he explained that he took a quick shower and got changed into his work clothes - and was at his desk by 9:05am.

'I'll leave clothes at work the day before and shower at work, so don't worry about me smelling at the office,' he joked on the app.

In one final video, Alex addressed people who called him 'crazy' for biking to work.

'I'm gonna say that's subjective,' he said to his haters.

He also pointed out that he only did it twice a week 'if he's feeling good,' and only cycled one way, usually taking the bus back home after work.
