    About Me/ Sobre de Mi:

    I grew up in Houston and attended HISD schools, coming from a family of immigrants. I am deeply passionate about advocating for parents seeking guidance on navigating the educational system in this country. Inspired by dedicated teachers and my parents' perseverance, I am where I am today. As a visionary, innovator, and disruptor, I challenge traditional methods to swiftly transform the lives of children, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds. Education is the most potent tool for achieving success in any endeavor.

    Crecí en Houston y asistí a las escuelas de HISD, proveniente de una familia de inmigrantes. Me apasiona profundamente defender a los padres que buscan orientación sobre cómo navegar el sistema educativo en este país. Inspirada por maestros dedicados y la perseverancia de mis padres, estoy donde estoy hoy. Como visionaria, innovadora y disruptora, desafío los métodos tradicionales para transformar rápidamente las vidas de niños, padres y personal de diversos orígenes. La educación es la herramienta más potente para lograr el éxito en cualquier esfuerzo.

    I grew up attending public schools in Dallas, Texas. I earned my undergraduate degree and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have over a decade of experience as a public-school educator. One strength is my ability to develop and activate the instructional expertise of the teachers by utilizing a highly effective system of coaching strategies.

     

    Crecí asistiendo a escuelas públicas en Dallas, Texas. Obtuve mi licenciatura y una maestría en Educación Secundaria de la Universidad Estatal Stephen F. Austin. Tengo más de una década de experiencia como educadora en escuelas públicas. Una de mis fortalezas es mi capacidad para desarrollar y activar la experiencia educativa de los maestros mediante la utilización de un sistema altamente efectivo de estrategias de entrenamiento.
