Sometimes we take selfies to the next level: Old Navy Selfiebration featured IRL, selfie art made from balloons, while NatGeo Einstein’s Chalkboard used machine learning to transform selfies into one-of-a-kind, algorithmic chalk portraits composed of Einstein’s handwriting. We are SO excited to share this project that reps our hometown! 💛🖤 A nostalgic, one-of-a-kind gashapon machine – complete with AI-powered personalization – generates custom itineraries and dispenses miniatures based on five unique Pittsburgh personas: 🥟 Pierogi - “The Foodie” 🧶 Neighborly Sweater - “The Aesthete” 🟨 Terrible Towel - “The Fan” 🤖 The Rover - “The Techie” ⛰️ The Incline - “The Urban Adventurer” VisitPITTSBURGH had a new bold, bright, brand design, but came to us to figure out how to bring it to life with an engaging, fun, tourable experiential campaign that shows visitors how Pittsburgh can surprise them. Attendees completed a short, digital personality quiz at the machine, then turned the crank to receive their corresponding miniature and an AI-generated itinerary tailored to their tastes. Lines gathered all day at the machine during its debut at D.C. Pride Fest; guests were eager to plan their next adventure to the Steel City and take home a new mini friend. Next stop? JazzFest Cleveland! 🎷

We won a GOLD ADDY 🏆 for the Activision Call of Duty Next machines at this year’s AAF Pittsburgh & Ad 2 Pittsburgh ADDY Awards. 🎉 Thank you to our amazing team and clients! This past fall, the launch of COD Modern Warfare 3 marked the first-ever appearance of Zombies in a Modern Warfare series; to drum up excitement, Activision wanted an exclusive and surprising way to show up for fans at their in-person COD Next event in LA. We worked with Activision and Liquid Death (a perfectly apt beverage of choice) to bring the apocalyptic, uber-creepy world of Zombie mode to influencers on-site by building iconic vending machines from previous maps. Jugger-nog, Speed Cola, and Deadshot Daiquiri are all 1:1 replicas of the Perk-A-Cola machines that fans recognize and love from past COD releases.
