The end of Cameron's retirement was announced through a message that was shared to Jamie's Twitter account in June.

He notably brought in American footballer Tom Brady in an effort to coax the retired actress back from her long-term break.

During the call, she made a point of expressing how troubled she was about making a announcement.

She stated: 'I'm so anxious right now, I'm pacing the room...I don't know how to do this, you know?'.

The Django Unchained star then brought in quarterback Brady, 44, who was famously indecisive about ending his career, to give the actress a few pointers.

'I was talking to Jamie and he said you needed a few tips on how to un-retire. I'm relatively successful at un-retiring,' he stated.

Jamie also added a message in which he said he needed a bit of help to get Diaz back into acting, describing her as a GOAT, which stands for Greatest Of All Time.
