Jeremy Renner crawls across a rock shirtless as he continues documenting his recovery from snowplow accident: 'Working through it'

Jeremy Renner gave his 21.1 million Instagram followers a look into his recovery process by sharing a video on his Story on Saturday.

In the clip, the 52-year-old performer was seen while crawling across a rock-like platform in an attempt to test his joints 'against gravity.'

The Hawkeye star, who appeared to be in high spirits during a recently-held Los Angeles Lakers game, also wrote that he was 'working through' the pain in order to advance his healing process.

Renner is still recovering from various injuries he sustained in an accident that took place near Reno, Nevada, on New Year's Day.

The Avengers: Endgame star was hit and run over by a snowplow while attempting to prevent his nephew from being hit by the vehicle.

The performer suffered numerous broken bones and a collapsed lung during the incident, after which he spent a considerable amount of time in an intensive care unit.

Renner underwent surgery for his injuries following the accident, and although he was listed as being in critical condition, he was released from hospital care on January 17.

The actor has since shared various photos and videos from his recovery process on his Instagram account.

The performer recently spoke to CNN and told the media outlet that he felt 'very blessed and very lucky to be upright and walk around and to live life.'

Renner went on to state that the accident caused him to reevaluate his priorities and to structure his life in a more efficient manner. 

'My life is really lean, if that makes sense. There's no fat in my life anymore. I don't have time for that,' he said.

The star of The Town also spoke about the 'gifts' he had gained from his process of recovery.

'When you're tested physically, emotionally, spiritually, in every way, and then to come through it, that's something hard to explain,' he said.

Renner announced that he was planning on releasing a new musical project inspired by his recovery in a post that was shared on his Instagram account last month. 

The performer shared a portion of the cover art for his upcoming release, entitled Love And Titanium, although much of it was covered up by a heart emoji.

The actor also penned a short message to elaborate on the themes of his new project.

'Love and Titanium has been painful, deeply healing, and ultimately cathartic for me to create. I hope I get the courage to share with you all,' he wrote.
