Kim Kardashian's quirky woven braids ROASTED by fans as they compare her new look to Founding Fathers' wigs: 'What in the constitution is going on here!'

Kim Kardashian was dragged once again for her hairstyle. 

The makeup mogul, 43, sparked social media backlash on Sunday after sharing several Instagram photos showcasing her platinum hair styled into intricate basket-weave pigtails.

Critics were quick to liken the look to the powdered periwigs worn by America’s Founding Fathers such as Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. 

'What in the constitution is going on here?' one follower wrote, as another added, 'It's giving... founding fathers'.

Another posted, 'She getting ready to write the declaration of independence.'

Yet another chimed in with a reference to Kim's bar exam studies, writing, 'Did you steal a judge's wig from law school.' 

The relentless trolls also drew comparisons between her hairstyle and objects like a picnic basket, and some even drew parallels to fictional characters including Elsa from Frozen and Queen Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones.

The stunner, however, found many fans in support of her look, with one saying, 'This is actually so cool. I need a tutorial of this.'

Another shared, 'Wooow so unique! Loved it,' as yet another follower gave a shout out to her longtime hairstylist Chris Appleton, writing, 'Whoa love this Chris. seriously beautiful my dear.'

This isn't the first time Kim has faced backlash for her braids. 

In 2020, she was accused of cultural appropriation after she sported a tight braided hairdo at her then-husband Kanye West's Paris Fashion Week show. 

Kim, who is half Armenian, faced criticism when she shared a snap of her look on Twitter with users accusing her of appropriating black culture. 

Kim previously hit out at backlash when she sported what she called 'Bo Derek' braids back in 2018.

Yet, a number of her followers rushed to defend her at the time, and claimed fans were making a big deal out of a playful post. 

One wrote: 'What’s the problem with Kim Kardashian having braids? Stop making nothing into something.'

While others chimed in: 'I actually like Kim’s braids lol' and 'You look so good with braids!!!! Haters gonna hate.'
