Christian Bale cuts a dapper figure as he links arms with glamorous wife Sibi Blažić at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show in Sardinia

Christian Bale looked happier than ever as he linked arms with Sibi Blažić, his wife of 24 years, at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda fashion show in Sardinia on Tuesday.  

The Batman star, 50, cut a dapper figure in a black suit, which he paired with an open collar shirt. 

The actor was all smiles as he tucked a pair of sunglasses into his smart shirt as he arrived at the star-studded event with his American stunt performer wife, 54. 

Sibi looked sensational in a black figure-hugging midi dress, which boasted stylish semi-sheer long sleeves. 

She added inches to her frame in a pair of leopard print heels and carried her belongings in a matching clutch. 

The couple enjoyed a drink as they walked hand-in-hand to their seats at the star-studded show, which also had Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Naomi Campbell and Halle Bailey in attendance. 

Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda launches the fashion house's jewellery collection in an annual four-day extravaganza. 

The long-time couple reportedly met through actress Winona Ryder while she and Christian were working on Little Women in 1994 and Sibi was Winona's assistant at the time. 

The two hit it if off, eloped to Las Vegas in 2000 and welcomed their two children, daughter Emmeline in 2005 and son James in 2014.

The couple have very cute nicknames for their kids, as Christian revealed in his 2019 Golden Globes acceptance speech for his role as Dick Cheney in Vice.

'Thank you to my beautiful wife who said less is more,' he said while accepting the Best Actor award. 

'Say less right now, she knows the dumb crap that can come out of my mouth sometimes. I can sink and ruin a perfectly good movie and a so-so career in one speech. I wouldn't be working without her.

'And thank you for our beautiful children, Banana and Burrito. They've given me a love and a soul I never thought possible.'

Christian, who is well known for being a method actor who completely transforms himself for roles, credits his wife with his success. 

'She's had to be married to so many different characters over our marriage … I know it truly would be impossible to do it without her. She's such a good, strong woman.'

He has also joked that his wife prefers some of the characters he's played over him.

'My wife definitely had favourites. She was like, "Ah, I miss him. He's gone. You're a d**k. I want you to be that character again,"' he told People.

Christian is currently filming The Bride alongside Jessie Buckley, Annette Bening, Penelope Cruz and Gyllenhaal's husband, Peter Sarsgaard. 

'A lonely Frankenstein travels to 1930s Chicago to seek the aide of a Dr. Euphronius in creating a companion for himself. 

'The two reinvigorate a murdered young woman and the Bride is born,' the film's synopsis reads.
