Hannah Waddingham puts on a VERY animated display as she cheers on Muller versus Medvedev during day three of Wimbledon

Hannah Waddingham got into the spirit of Wimbledon on day three of the tennis tournament on Wednesday, as she watched Alexander Muller and Daniil Medvedev going head-to-head.

The actress, 49, put on a very animated display as she watched the Centre Court action unfold, cheering and grimacing as the second round matches got underway.

Hannah enjoyed the tennis after the roof of Centre Court after rain delayed play elsewhere.

The drizzly weather didn't stop Hannah who wowed in a bright summer dress as she arrived for the action, later added a black blazer.

The Ted Lasso star, 49, looked gorgeous in a plunging purple dress, with a bold floral print and halter-neck style which flaunted her toned arms.

Hannah accessorised with white statement shades and sandals as she posed up a storm outside the VIP entrance.

Lauren Silverman meanwhile stuck to tennis whites, looking chic in a midi dress with a black belt cinching in her waist.

Influencer Paige Lorenze also dressed for the sunshine in a strapless polka dot dress from Self Portrait while GB News star Isabel Webster teamed her spotty number with a white blazer. 

Emma Weymouth put on a leggy display in a floral print mini dress, wrapping a tennis jacket around her to keep warm.

Play has been delayed by more than two hours on some courts at SW19, as organisers hope to get matches underway this afternoon. 

Play on Wimbledon's infamous Centre Court is scheduled to see men's fifth seed Daniil Medvedev play France's Alexandre Mukker before Naomi Osaka continues her tennis comeback journey with a tough battle against American Emma Navarro.

Elsewhere, on Court No.1, British ace Emma Raducanu faces the experienced Elise Mertens, whilst last year's male champion Carlos Alcaraz comes up against Australian Aleksandar Vukic and women's second seed Coco Gauff plays Romanian Anca Todoni.

Guests, including Hannah, enjoyed the Champagne Lanson suite at Wimbledon to celebrate The 137th Championships. 2024 marks the 47th year of the House’s association with The Championships. 

Throughout the day, guests enjoyed a private Champagne reception, seated lunch and afternoon tea. 

It's shaping up to be a sporty week for Hannah, who is set to perform the National Anthem at the Formula 1 Qatar Airways 2024 British Grand Prix on Sunday. 

The stage and screen star will take to the stage to sing God Save the King at the famous Silverstone racecourse.

In a statement released last week, Hannah said of her upcoming big moment: 'It’s the most enormous “pinch-me” moment to perform the National Anthem ahead of this year’s race. I feel deeply privileged. 

The atmosphere and excitement at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix last year was utterly electric and I can’t wait to be a part of it again. I am immensely proud of my British roots and I will remember this honour all my life.'

The Emmy winner added went on to pledge her support for British drivers Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Lando Norris.
