Julia Roberts celebrates 22nd wedding anniversary with Daniel Moder by posting PDA-filled snap

The Fourth of July might mean independence day to any ordinary American but, for Julia Roberts, it marked her 22nd wedding anniversary to second husband Daniel Moder.

The 56-year-old Oscar winner - who's rooting for the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce romance - captioned her PDA-filled snap with seven accompanying emojis: 'TWENTY TWO YEARS.'

Among Julia's seven approved Instagram comments included one from Tom Hanks' second wife Rita Wilson, who gushed: 'Lovers! Happiest of days to you both!'

'It all starts with Danny Moder. He is our person and, in the most beautiful way, the captain of our ship,' Roberts gushed on TODAY last December.

'And it's not, like, giving it all away to him. It's just that for me, understanding how deeply felt life could be really started with him.'

The Chopard brand ambassador and the 55-year-old Emmy-nominated cinematographer will soon become empty nesters in their $9.5M Point Dume hilltop estate in Malibu with their college-bound 17-year-old son Henry and 19-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus.

When the inseparable couple originally met in 2000 on the set of Gore Verbinski's film The Mexican, Julia had been in a relationship with Benjamin Bratt since 1998 and Danny had been married to Vera Steimberg since 1997.

New Idea claimed that Roberts paid the Argentinian-born 51-year-old - who's the make-up artist of Zoe Saldaña, Eddie Murphy, and Zazie Beetz - $200K to convince her to sign divorce papers in May 2002, which was two months before their wedding in Taos, NM.

Julia continued: 'He sorted his whole thing out, separate and apart from me. And I sorted my life out, separate and apart from him. I think that's the only reason we were able to ultimately fall in love with each other and be together.'

Roberts and the Ezra DP have also worked together on a total of eight films, most recently, Billy Ray's dismally-reviewed 2015 crime drama Secret in Their Eyes.

The Joe Biden supporter's first engagement to Flatliners co-star Kiefer Sutherland famously ended three days before their 1991 wedding, and her first marriage to four-time Grammy-winning country crooner Lyle Lovett ended in 1995 after just 21 months.

Julia will soon begin filming her role as a college professor with a dark secret in Luca Guadagnino's 2025 thriller After the Hunt for Amazon MGM Studios alongside Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri, and Chloë Sevigny.

And on March 11, Danny wrapped production on Jim Rash's upcoming grieving drama Miss You, Love You starring Allison Janney and Andrew Rannells.
