Behati Prinsloo beats the heat in black lace cami with daughters Dusty and Gio at Independence Day parade in California

Although red, white and blue seem like the best colors for the day, Behati Prinsloo knows that black is the classic choice.

The Namibian model, 36, looked chic in a black lace cami as she stepped out Thursday with her daughters Dusty Rose, 7, and 6-year-old Gio Grace at an Independence Day parade in Montecito, California.

She complemented the top with some loose-fitting jeans and a pair of leopard-print creeper shoes.

Prinsloo accessorized the look with a black sunglasses, as well as layers of necklaces and bracelets.

Husband Adam Levine did not appear to be present for the family outing, nor did their 1-year-old son.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel, who married Levine, 45, in July 2014, welcomed their third child last January.

She revealed in November that she gave birth to a boy, although they have not shared his name.

After Prinsloo revealed the pregnancy in September 2022, model Sumner Stroh claimed she was 'essentially ... having an affair' with Levine.

Stroh, 24, shared some of their alleged text exchanges and claimed they were seeing each other for 'about a year' before losing contact for a few months.

'At the time, I was young and naïve,' she explained at the time. 'And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. 

'I wasn't in the scene like I am now, so I was definitely easily manipulated,' added Stroh.

She said the Maroon 5 frontman later reached out to tell her about Prinsloo's pregnancy, allegedly asking if he could name the baby Sumner. 

After they welcomed their first son, a source told People that Levine and Prinsloo were 'doing great.' 

'After the drama in the fall, Adam has really tried to just focus on his family,' they said. 

'He was very embarrassed and remorseful,' the insider added. 'She and Adam are doing great. They are excited about the new baby.'

Following the scandal, Levine gave his wife and children a shoutout at the opening night of Maroon 5's Las Vegas residency in March 2023. 

The couple is preparing to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary later this month.
