Lindsay Hubbard says she's not worried about what her ex Carl Radke thinks of her pregnancy: 'His emotions are no longer my responsibility'

Lindsay Hubbard is moving on to a new chapter of life with a new man and a baby, less than a year after her ex Carl Radke called off their wedding. 

The Summer House star, 37 — who recently claimed Dorinda Medley leaked her pregnancy news — told PEOPLE on Saturday that she feels her 'prayers were answered.'

After being asked how her ex-fiancé would react to the pregnancy news, she told the outlet she isn't going out of her way to tell him.

'I'm sure he'll find out when the rest of the world finds out, but I'm not calling him up and having a conversation with him,' she said. 

'That relationship is in my past, and I can't really focus on my past anymore because I'm so focused on my present and my future,' she added.

'And to be honest, his emotions are no longer my responsibility. It's just not my problem anymore,' she noted.

The blonde beauty and her ex-fiancé called it quits during an episode of Summer House and most recently saw each other during the season 8 reunion. 

She explained that she maintained a positive attitude because of the multitude of things she hand to be grateful for.

'That's what allowed me that quiet, calm strength that I had at the reunion,' Lindsay said. 'In the back of my mind, the whole time I was thinking, "Let me just get through this, and then I can focus on the important things that matter to me right now" — which certainly wasn't all that.'

She further gushed about her pregnancy: 'It's just so clear to me that the universe had a plan,' the TV personality explained. 'I feel like my prayers were answered.' 

The New York native — who recently announced her pregnancy with her unnamed boyfriend — went on to discuss over the joys of being an expectant mother.

'I've been very lucky and blessed that the pregnancy has been fairly easy,' she shared. 

'I've had no morning sickness, no nausea — if anything, it's been the opposite because my pregnancy hunger is insatiable. But it's been a really, really easy

'I'm just excited to actually be able to talk about it publicly now and share in the celebration with our friends,' she says.

'I'm a very "scream from the rooftops" kind of girl. I'm just ready to let it all out now,' she finished.

Lindsay and Carl called off their wedding back in late August of 2023 but were set to said 'I do' just weeks later.

The reality TV couple got engaged on August 27, 2022 at Dune Beach in Southampton. 

They were first locked eyes in 2016 during the inaugural season of Summer House. but were in separate relationships at the time.

They started dating in summer 2019 before quickly going their separate ways, and later dating on and off.
