Kacey Musgraves wore a white bra and matching half slip while sitting in a tree in photo outtakes shared on Sunday on Instagram.
The 35-year-old country singer posted multiple pictures of herself in a tree by photographer Kelly Christine taken during a photo shoot for the cover of Bitter Southerner magazine.
Kacey captioned the photos with a quote reading: ''when the roots run deep there’s no fear of the wind''.
She also added: 'Outtakes by @kellychristinephoto for my @bittersoutherner cover (which is out now) hair @giovannidelgado makeup @moanilee styling @ecduzit asst by @lindseydupuis,' Kacey wrote in the caption for her roughly 2.6 million followers.
Kacey in the photos sat on a thick branch of a large tree as sunshine poured in through green leaves.

She posed while reclining with her arms behind her head and her long black hair down and styled in a fringe.
Kacey showed a tattoo on her left ribcage while staring at the camera.
She also leaned forward while sitting and stared upward in a photo.
Other outtakes showed Kacey smiling while barefoot during the photoshoot.
Kacey released his sixth studio album Deeper Well in March through MCA Nashville and Interscope Records.
She embarked on the Deeper Well World Tour in April in support of the album.
Deeper Well debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States and in the UK it debuted at number three on the Official Albums Chart.
Kacey last month shared a racy snap of her nude body being covered with a mud-like liquid during a photoshoot.

The Rainbow hitmaker covered up her modesty with just a brown heart emoji.
Kacey is no stranger to daring displays as she previously performed naked on Saturday Night Live in 2021 while appearing as musical guest.
For her second performance on the NBC comedy series, she took the stage to sing her hit song from that year, Justified.
Her publicist later confirmed that besides not lip-synching, she also did not feign nudity when she wore just a pair of cowboy boots and covered her body with her guitar.
'She was nude,' her rep confirmed to Variety. 'Precautions were taken, and this was the first time it's happened on the show.'
